The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and beautiful. Take a 3 block walk to the cliffs to watch the waves, sunrise or moonrise over the Pacific Ocean. The Shipman Beach trailhead is .3 miles away from Hale O Malu. The Kaloli Point neighborhood is very walkable on small gravel roads. There are no sidewalks, but few cars make it a safe place to walk. There are a couple public parking pullouts near the cliffs is you prefer to drive.
