The cozy reading nook features comfy chairs and lots of natural light! You wouldn't believe this apartment was located in the basement with all the natural light. Enjoy a luxurious shower in the walk-in shower with rainfall functionality. Guests will have access to the driveway and attached garage. The basement apartment walks out to the backyard with private access. All the greenery in our apartment is real! We love mixing the outdoors with the indoors. Guests have access to the driveway and backyard (patio & yard). The backyard is fenced for animals. There is an additional $20 pet fee. Please note this is a basement apartment. The upstairs apartment is also a functioning Airbnb with people coming and going. As in most apartment units, we ask that excessive noise be kept to a minimum from 10 PM - 6 AM daily. We live blocks away and can be available as little or as often as needed. Our neighborhood is quiet, cute and friendly! We experienced a devastating derecho in August of 2020. Much of the city and the neighborhood is still repairing, replanting and recovering from the disaster. Thankfully the disaster brought us all closer and the neighborly vibe is very present here. We still have a lot of work to do outside to become beautiful again but we are appreciative for Mother Nature and her ability to regrow and recover! We know all of our neighbors personally as we lived in this house for years before renting our spaces on Airbnb. They are very kind and welcoming. We are located a few blocks from a bus stop on 6th avenue. Rideshare companies are available 24/7 in Cedar Rapids if transportation is difficult to come by. Please note - NOISE: As this is a basement apartment, noise from the upstairs Airbnb can be heard at times (footsteps, etc). We have a strict quiet hours schedule in place. The electric water heater is also located in the master closet and produces a humming noise when being used.
