Come visit the Beacon House for some relaxation and fun! This home rental includes 2 separate living units, making it ideal for families and groups traveling together. It is located in the heart Ocean City! 7 blocks to the beach and close enough to everything you need with many eateries and stores within walking distance! 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms and 4 bathrooms in total between the 2 units, as well as a driveway for 2 average sized vehicles and a spacious yard. The space This house offers a great stay within a close proximity to the beach and the best of Ocean City, close to it all! There are 2 separate units with this property rental. (The units do not have interior access to one another. Each unit also has the option to be rented individually, but this listing includes both) GROUND LEVEL UNIT: The ground level unit has a living room with a comfortable couch, kitchen with all appliances, a kitchen island with stools and kitchen table to seat 4. The ground level unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. BEDROOM 1 - 1 Queen Bed with ensuite full bath BEDROOM 2- 1 Full Bed with a Full Trundle Bed BEDROOM 3- 1 Full Bed UPSTAIRS UNIT: The upstairs unit has a living room with a comfortable couch, kitchen with. new appliances, a kitchen island with stools and a kitchen table to seat 4. The second level of the home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. BEDROOM 1 - 1 Queen Bed with ensuite full bath BEDROOM 2- 1 Single Bed with a Single Trundle Bed BEDROOM 3- Full Bed with a Full Trundle Bed BEDROOM 4- Upstairs Loft Room with 1 Full Bed with a Trundle Bed and 1 Single Bed EXTERIOR: Guests may also enjoy the front yard, which has seating, a bbq and a fire pit. (Please note that guests must provide their own firewood for the fire pit and propane for the grill) AMENITIES: The home is also equipped with Wifi, a coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, washer and dryers in each unit and much more! PETS: *ONLY ACCEPTED FOR THE LOWER UNIT. THERE WILL BE NO PETS PERMITTED IN UPSTAIRS UNIT. -We will consider 1 pet but they must be pre-approved, meet our insurance guidelines, and there is an additional fee of $100 per stay. -Weight restriction of 35 pounds -Not all breeds may be permitted. -All pets must be fully housebroken and well behaved. -You are fully responsible for damages, stains, and abiding by our pet rules. PET RULES: Please review the following guidelines when staying with your fur baby! -Pet must be fully vaccinated -Guests agree to never leave their pet unattended for a long period of time and always keep their pet under control. When not with the pet, the pet must be caged or contained. -Guests agree to promptly report any damage caused by pet(s). -Guests agree to pay any costs for damage done by pet(s) that exceeds the policy limit or is not covered under the damage insurance policy. -If damages are not reported but are found by owners/agent, it will be documented, and necessary replacement or repair costs will be reported to Airbnb. -Guests agree that their pet is housebroken. -Guests agree to adhere to local ordinances, leash laws and licensing requirements. -Guests agree to clean up after their pet(s) & dispose of their pet(s’) waste promptly. -Guests agree to keep pet(s) from being noisy or aggressive, and from causing any annoyance or discomfort to others. Guests will remedy any complaints immediately. Guest access ACCESS & ENTRY: -Guests will have access the entire ground level unit, the upstairs unit, driveway and yard. -Please note that there are stairs to enter to the second floor. -We ask that you please respect the home and the neighbors. -Please note that check-out time is promptly at 11:00 AM. Failure to check out by this time may result in a $100 fee per hour. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for our next guests. Thank you for your understanding! KEYLESS ENTRY: -There is keyless entry. Your host will provide you with the door code approximately one hour prior to check in the day of your trip. PARKING: -Guests may use the driveway at the side of the home which is accessible from the back of the home, that can fit 2 regular sized vehicles. -Guests may park on the block in front of the home where there is metered parking available. -There is one parking permit provided for the municipal parking lot across the street at the bus station that is applicable through October 31. -You may display in your dashboard and please be sure to return the permit upon your departure. -There will be a $125 fee if the pass is not returned. -Guests are responsible for city street parking compliance; read & follow signage to avoid parking tickets. -We are not responsible for guest's vehicles. BEACH TAGS: -Beach tags will be provided. -Please return all tags before your departure. -There will be a $40 fee per lost or missing tag. MAIL: -Do not send packages to the property via mail as we do not have access to the locked street mailboxes for the property. -If there is something of priority that you need shipped please reach out to us directly for alternative options. -We are not responsible for any items shipped to the property. ENVIRONMENTAL NOTES: -Property located in a beach town environment; potential for noise from cars or foot traffic. SECURITY: -The home is protected by exterior ring camera security. Other things to note HONESTY & EXPECTATIONS: At "The Beacon Ocean City", we want our guests to have a clear understanding of the distinctions between vacation rentals and hotels. While we diligently maintain our properties, wear and tear are inherent aspects of vacation rentals. Although we address issues promptly, the high volume of guests may result in occasional delays between stays. Any significant damage or serious concerns are prioritized and resolved before a guest's check-in, provided we are made aware of the issue. CLEANING: Our dedicated cleaning team meticulously sanitizes and cleans each home. Unlike standard hotel rooms, homes entail a more detailed cleaning process due to their larger size. Despite our team's efforts to ensure optimal cleanliness, minor oversights may occur. For substantial errors, we are committed to rectifying the situation promptly. While we take pride in our cleaning standards, we ask for understanding that, as in any human endeavor, perfection is not always attainable, especially when minor details have no direct impact on your stay. HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: As private residences, it's important to recognize that household items may break or require repairs during your stay. While we understand the inconvenience this may pose to our guests, it's equally disruptive for us. Appliances such as water tanks, HVAC systems, dishwashers, and refrigerators may experience issues. We cannot guarantee immunity from such occurrences, but we pledge to address and resolve any situation swiftly. While we assure our commitment to guests' well-being, we're honest about the potential for unforeseen issues. AMENITIES: -WiFi included; exterior ring camera security for added safety. -Linens, towels, and basic amenities provided. -Guests must purchase their own amenities when stock runs out. -No laundry detergent is provided. -Basic cookware supplies; no salt, pepper, oil, or kitchen condiments. RESERVATION/CANCELLATION NOTES: -If your dates are booked, please ask about our other listings. -Changing reservation dates or guest quantity may incur additional fees. -Rates/prices subject to change based on reservation adjustments. -Cancellation policy WILL apply if reservation is cancelled. Please review before booking. -Airbnb Trip Protection suggested for added coverage. OTHER DETAILS: -Ocean City is a barrier island; expect common sightings of ants or critters. The property may have evidence of preventative treatments and measures. -Beach tags are provided. Beach amenities are not provided. -Personalized house guide with local information, suggestions, and recommendations. -We utilize quilts on most of our beds for comfort, durability, and sanitary reasons. If extra blankets are needed let us know before check in. City-wide quiet hours from 10pm-7am. -We ask that you please respect the neighbors, the neighborhood and the home. -Please monitor noise levels, especially during the night. -You must be 21 and over to book. -We ask that you please read the house rules and listing in full when booking. -If you are extremely sensitive to smells, please note that odors from food, smoke, or other sources from outside or neighboring units may occasionally be noticeable.
