Only 15 miles to Hilo and 8 miles to charming Pahoa town! This space provides Free Wifi, SmartTV, a kitchenette, full bathroom, and more. A great base to retreat and explore all the Big Island has to offer ! The space This spacious studio comes with a Queen bed, additional pull out sofa bed, and covered private patio space to enjoy a cup of coffee or meals. The kitchenette comes equip with full size fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and water kettle along with any dishware and daily utensils! Everything you need for the perfect getaway Other things to note - There is no central heat or AC units. - There is 3 other guest houses on the property. - The driveway to guesthouse is dirt and not paved, you will have to walk across gravel and up a few steps to get to the front door - Parking is in an outdoor location - Our futon couch in the living room folds out to a twin size - Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7 There are 3 additional guest houses on this beautiful 1 acre property! Smoke-Free Environment: Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited indoors to maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere. No Shoes Policy: To ensure a clean environment and avoid carpet/rug stains, we do not allow shoes indoors. Due to Hawaii's warm, tropical climate, it's not uncommon to occasionally encounter small critters, even indoors. We take great care to manage this by regularly cleaning and treating the property, but the natural environment can sometimes invite these little visitors inside. Additionally, please note that our home is located in a tropical island setting, where nature is very much part of daily life. It is normal to hear roosters or chickens in the neighborhood, as well as frogs—especially in the early mornings and evenings. These sounds are a natural and authentic part of living in Hawaiʻi. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend bringing or using earplugs for your comfort. By booking with us, you acknowledge and embrace these island sounds as part of the local charm and relaxed island vibes.
