It is a 5 minute walk to Punaluu Beach(Black sand beach with sea turtles). The condo had every item you would need from beach towels and chairs to a washer and dryer and well stocked kitchen. The property has a gorgeous pool and hot tub surrounded by stunning landscaping looking out to the ocean! Kona is a 1.5 hour drive, which we willingly did every day, we liked the peace of quiet where the condo is and drove to the busy side. We will come again!!! Thank you Julie!!!” Parisa - Apr 2018 - Our stay was great! Julie was responsive and accommodating. The condo is a < 5 min walk to Punalu'u beach which is amazing. It was also very conveniently located to the Volcanoes National Park so it was good home base for us to explore the beach and national park. The condo was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. If you are interested in snorkeling or beach activities you will need to remember to bring your own as they are not provided by the condo and there are no rental places at the beach. I was concerned when I signed up for no A/C in Aug but it cooled off to a pleasant sleeping temperature. I love the louvers - what a difference that makes in keeping the rooms cool.
