Just four blocks away from City Park, Main Ave, and the lake, you'll be right in the heart of the action. The house has undergone a complete renovation, including updates to both the electric and plumbing systems. The kitchen is brand new, providing a modern and functional space for meal preparation and gathering. The main floor is spacious, allowing plenty of room for movement and conversation. After a busy day, the three-season porch off the kitchen is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a moment of relaxation. On the main floor of the house, you'll find a bedroom with a king-sized bed and an attached bathroom featuring a shower. Additionally, there is a half bathroom on this level and a generously sized, fully equipped kitchen. The dining area boasts a super long dining table that can comfortably seat up to 10 people. There are two separate living rooms on the main floor as well. Moving up to the second floor, there are three more bedrooms, each with access to a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a queen-sized bed and features an attached bathroom. Laundry is conveniently located on the second floor You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage and 1 closet on the main floor that we use for owners' items. We live in Fort Worth TX full time and come to Clear Lake as often as we can. We may not be in Clear Lake when you are staying at our home. We do have quite a few friends and family in town who can assist us if needed. Feel free to call or text us if you have a concern. Located just 4 blocks from the shores of Clear Lake and the vibrant downtown area. You will find a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes all within walking distance. Feel the rich history and strong sense of community by taking part in a range of events and festivals throughout the year. The Surf District, home of the famous Surf Ballroom, is located about 6 blocks away and offers live music as well as several restaurant options. Clear Lake is a very walkable town. The downtown area is compact with sidewalks and pedestrian crossings making it safe and convenient to navigate. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park or along the shore of Clear Lake. The town also has several options to rent a golf cart for your stay. This home is completely updated with modern conveniences, and we absolutely love it... but it was built in 1940 so there are some unique things that are appropriate to mention prior to you choosing our home for your stay. There are 2 sets of stairs in the house. The stairs by the front door are pretty good, but they do turn a corner so the inside part of the treads are not very wide. The other stairs by the back door are pretty steep. Both sets of stairs are well built and solid but they were not built to the same standards we expect today. If anyone in your group has challenges with stairs, you may want to consider giving them the downstairs bedroom with the king bed and bathroom.
