Overlooking the beautiful Kona Coast...The Dome at Ulu Inn says: "Aloha...let's Disconnect, to Reconnect" Nestled within a gated 5 acre estate, Settle into our exclusive Geodesic Dome suite...experience elevated glamping, designed for ultimate relaxation and ensured seclusion from the outside world. THE DOME & neighboring unit THE CUBE, are an ample distance apart, providing privacy from each other. You may get up close and personal with our Goats, Pigs, Geckos & wild birds that roam freely. The space The Geodesic dome is 23ft (7m) in circmferemce with the ceiling rising almost 20ft High. Blackout curtains provide privacy from the expansive window as well as shade to keep the dome cooled during the day. Being at an elevation of 1400ft (426m) it is often cool in the mornings and evenings, so having open windows and doors usually keeps the dome cool. We have also provided a portable A/C unit to assist with the cool down if needed. Your private bathroom is just steps away outside the Geodome and has a sink, toilet and stand up shower with all the bathroom ammenities you may need. We also have an outdoor shower available for use when returning from the beach or if you simply prefer the “one with nature” option. The dome sits on a 42x36’ deck, Equipped with covered Gazebo, picnic table, BBQ Grill and hanging Egg chairs, couch and fire pit for relaxing no matter what the weather may be. Guest access The whole Dome and deck area are for your private use during your stay on the 1st tier of the property. Our Property is situated on three tiers (top to bottom): Tier 1 - The Dome sits on the southern end of tier 1, while The Cube, our neighboring unit, sits at the center of the first tier, aprroximately 250ft (76m) away. Tier 2 - Our Private Residence/Cottage is on the northern end of tier two. Tier 3 - Our warehouse/farm area takes up the whole of tier three.
