Other things to note 🌴 Tropical Climate: Kauai’s tropical climate means you can expect warm weather, rainfall, and high humidity, which varies by season. Each stay offers a unique experience with nature's elements. 🌧️ Rain: Rain showers are common at night and early morning, but daytime rainouts are rare. If rain does occur, you can usually find a sunny beach within an hour's drive. Please note, we do not offer weather-related refunds as we have no control over the weather. ❄️ Temperature Control: Our home benefits from cool trade winds most of the time. However, on warmer days without trade winds, you’ll appreciate our brand-new AC units installed in every room to keep you comfortable. 🐜 Bugs & Mold: While we take every measure to maintain a clean, bug-free, and mold-free home, it’s important to remember that Kauai’s tropical environment naturally invites some of these elements. We recommend storing food in the fridge to avoid attracting insects. We clean and treat regularly to minimize exposure. 🐓 Noise: Kauai is home to its famous roosters, known for their early morning and occasional evening crows. Additionally, since our home is near a road, you may hear some light road noise. If you’re a light sleeper, we recommend using earplugs for a more restful night.
