From the 22nd floor of the Pacific Monarch, sweeping ocean views stretch out ahead of you - calm and blue at dawn, glowing warm by afternoon. Below, Kūhiō Avenue buzzes with the easy rhythm of island life, and the beach is just a short walk away. The space This open-plan studio is designed for comfort and ease, accommodating up to three guests with a queen-size bed and a pull-out sleeper sofa. Room-darkening shades, cotton linens, and extra pillows and blankets make it easy to rest well after a day in the sun. A ceiling fan and window AC unit keep the space cool year-round, while a 55-inch TV, Ethernet connection, and fast Wi-Fi (206 Mbps) handle everything from streaming to video calls. A dedicated workspace with a door is available if you need a quiet spot to focus. Kitchen & dining The full kitchen gives you everything needed for easy in-room meals - a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, hot water kettle, and drip coffee maker alongside cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. A dining table offers a relaxed spot to enjoy breakfast with an ocean backdrop before heading out to explore. For evenings in, it doubles as the perfect place to unwind with takeout from nearby Waikiki favorites. Bathroom & laundry The full bathroom includes both a bathtub and shower, with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel provided. Fresh bed linens and towels are included. Coin- and card-operated washer and dryer facilities are available in the building - convenient for longer stays. An iron, hangers, and clothing storage via closet and dresser help keep things organized throughout your visit. Outdoor & shared amenities Head up to the rooftop and you'll find a shared outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna with expansive views over the ocean and city skyline - a great way to start or end the day. The building also offers free resort access to nearby resort facilities. Beach essentials are provided for your time on the sand, including beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear. A private patio or balcony and sun loungers round out the outdoor options. A BBQ grill is also available on-site. Building features & parking The Pacific Monarch offers elevator access throughout (at least 52 inches deep with a 32-inch doorway), a 24-hour front desk, and a single-level layout inside the unit - no stairs to navigate. Paid parking is available both in an on-site garage and at a nearby off-premises lot ($45/day price is subject to change). A laundromat is also conveniently located nearby. Location Situated on Kūhiō Avenue in the heart of Waikiki, the Pacific Monarch puts you steps from the beach, within easy reach of shopping, restaurants, and public transport. Whether you're heading out for a morning swim, an afternoon exploring Honolulu, or an evening stroll along the waterfront, everything is right at your doorstep. Good to know Check-in is at the front desk from 3:00 PM, with check-out by 10:00 AM. Self check-in is available via keypad. Long-term stays of 28 nights or more are welcome. Please note that from July 14, 2025, the building will be undergoing an elevator modernization project - expect potential wait times during peak hours.
