Description
Our property is located in Kealakekua with a spectacular ocean view. You’ll love my place because it is cozy, clean, and a short drive from the beach and downtown Kailua-Kona. Our place is great for solo adventurers and remote workers. A portion of our property is dedicated to vacation rentals, while the other half is a hostel. The space Welcome to your home away from home on Big Island. My name is Annie and I have owned and operated Pineapple Park for 25 years. When you book a private room with me, you aren’t just getting a place to stay the night: you are getting a clean, cozy, relaxed space to unwind, to get work done, and to use as a home base while you explore the island. There is no place quite like Pineapple Park, and that’s what everyone says when they stay with us. We are tucked away in Kealakekua, in a little building that you just might miss if you are driving by - this “secret hideaway” aspect is often what people appreciate the most, because once you step inside our gate, it’s like a whole other world, filled with color and warmth and a courtyard garden brimming with all kinds of plants and flowers. Walk along the pathways winding between our rooms and you will discover a spectacular and serene ocean view, the perfect backdrop for a cup of coffee and your laptop (for remote workers) or for just relaxing in between activities. Pineapple Park is most loved by solo adventurers looking to stay for a week or more and traveling workers who need an economical and quiet place to stay for a month at a time. We accept bookings for anyone between the ages of 18 to 60; we are a substance-free establishment and we work hard to ensure your stay is restful, restorative and memorable. A few extra things to note when planning your trip: - We are a short drive away from downtown Kailua-Kona. Uber and Lyft both operate on the island so you can always get a ride if you don’t have your own vehicle. - We are also a quick drive away from the Captain Cook Monument Trailhead, coffee plantations, historic Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park (City of Refuge), and the protected underwater paradise of Kealakekua Bay; nearby snorkleing and diving areas are perfect for swimming with dolphins, turtles, and giant manta rays! - Our property includes two buildings, one building houses several dorm rooms for our hostel, and the other building includes our Airbnb vacation rentals. All of our guests are quiet, polite and respectful, so even in shared walkways and common areas, you will have plenty of space and time to yourself. - We are conveniently located within walking distance of a minimart and coffee shop; near restaurants, Hele-on bus stop, art galleries, coffee and chocolate plantation tours, Captain Cook Sunday Market, and the post office. Please contact me if you have any questions or need further information. I look forward to welcoming you soon to Pineapple Park: your own little Hawaiian oasis for an unforgettable stay on Big Island! Guest access Guests have full access to the kitchen, barbecue, common area, coin operated laundry, parking, and multiple bathrooms onsite. No outside guests are allowed on the property. During your stay Guests can contact me at any point if they need. Other things to note If you are working remotely, we have 2 wireless routers with speed up to 400Mbps onsite.
