The Fern Forest Chateau is located on a secure private 3 acre property 10 minutes from Volcano National Park surrounded by a green fern forest. This large modern, ranch style home boasts 1400 sq. feet of living space at a comfortable 2,500 feet of elevation with average temperatures of 76° during the day and 66° in the evening. Large rooms include the master bathroom with a soaking tub and large shower. A great room with built in fireplace, and large well equipped kitchen. Washer/dryer available The space This is a great living area for a vacationing family. We provide a clean and fully equipped large kitchen that includes two sinks, a full-sized stove/oven microwave and refrigerator. Convenient, nearby, parking is available near you’re private front entrance. We, however, are not handicapped equipped. Washer and dryer is available Also, pets are not allowed . Enjoy the use of 500 mbs high-speed internet connection for WiFi computer and phone connectivity and for satellite TV with fire stick internet programing with Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube available while relaxing on a large sectional couch near the built-in fireplace. The master bedroom has a very comfortable Queen-sized bed, and the Living room also provides 2 full-sized beds, plus there is a queen size futon and the couch can be used for others to sleep on. This space can provide enough comfortable sleeping area for up to 4 people but can sleep six people if you double up in a couple using the futons on the floor. I am located in a fern forest country environment and it is a secured 3 acre property. There is a large master bathroom with a soaking tub and a large shower and double sink. The water that is provided to all areas of the main house is filtered for drinking and goes through a UV light But I can provide additional drinking water that goes through additional filtration If you need more drinking water, let me know as soon as you can so I can bring it to you I can provide beach chairs, beach towels, one boogie board or coolers And one set of fins and mask or snorkeling. Upon request. There are two kittens and one very friendly dog on the property. Let me know if you do not want them around. Guest access Convenient, nearby, free parking is available near your private front entrance (door code needed for entry.) Self check-in. However I am available to help 24/7. Easy access drive way, through the automatic opening gate (by entering the gate code) takes you directly to the main front door to the left of the garage. There is a large lanai in the front of the house to lounge at. If you smoke you can do so outside. The drive here is mostly paved road however the last 7/10th the mile on Makoa Road is gravel and easy to negotiate. Upon request. Other things to note The Chateau is very clean with high ceiling and a very open layout. Very cozy with a large fireplace bring your own dry firewood that you can purchase at the hardware store and a living room couch. There is a large front lanai for guests to use.
