We are in the country area of Oahu about 10 minutes south of the Polynesian Cultural Center. Our location has on site secure parking, we are proximal to sandy beaches, and are available to provide information as needed. Our neighborhood is in an agricultural setting and everything associated with small farm life is nearby. We have fruit trees on our property. WE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ACCEPT SHORT TERM REQUESTS. Current County laws limit us to only one rental in a 30 day period. 14 day min. We are not air conditioned but benefit from trade winds, floor and ceiling fans. There is a washer/dryer located in the bathroom. We live in the upstairs section of the house and occasionally need to use the dryer. This is generally one day a week but on sunny days we use our clothesline. We do not allow arrivals after 9 PM due to poorly lit country roads. In addition, late night arrivals have awoke nearby neighbors which is not permitted. You will have access to the bottom portion of the house which is approximately 1600 sq ft. Someone is generally available to provide information. The famous Kualoa Ranch is 7 miles south of us and the beaches of Punalu'u are wonderful. At the end of our street we have Ching's Market that sells foodstuffs and other sundries. They feature the Shrimp Truck and tasty meals that you can eat on the nearby beach. There is a large market, post office, and drug store about 4 miles to the north in Hau'ula. There is a bus stop within walking distance but private transportation is recommended. We have secure on site parking and guests are free to walk about our acre of land that includes coconut palm trees and many others. Per County law we can only host one occupancy per month. Please do not make reservation requests for anyone not qualified through the Airbnb system. Upon accepting your reservation, we communicate via email and will send you information about the area, and directions to the rental. Please note that Oahu vacation rental laws are being contested in court and we will update changes as we learn more. We now can accept one group in a 30 day time period.
