We invite you to stay in our renovated 1913 former Presbyterian church. The church was built in 1913 and was sold by the Dallas Center Presbyterian in 1997. Three families came before us who did the initial restoration. We purchased the home in spring 2020 and are excited to share it. The church has three levels. The Sunday School rooms on the lower and third level are now all bedrooms. The gorgeous 8000 sq foot home includes 3 floors with ample room for gathering, playing games and making memories as a family. The main floor consists of the master suite, which includes a king bed, laundry and on suite bath. The living space is over 2000 sq feet of open concept, with 18' ceilings, dining for 20 , 75" smart tv and plenty of seating for your entire group. The main floor also includes the former pastors office and half bath. The top floor includes two bedrooms with queen beds with smart tvs, a full bath and a loft with amazing views of the "sanctuary" space. Fire pit is available with prior permission. Our town is true Iowa nice. Our streets are lined with trees, we offer multiple parks and trails. The house is just blocks away from a 72 mile paved loop showing off the beauty of Iowa. We offer several dining options are just 25 minutes from hundreds of restaurants and major grocery stores. The church is located 15 minutes outside the Des Moines metro and minutes away from several wedding venues. Our lower level suite is a 3000+ sq foot private unit that has three bedrooms, full bath with three sinks, laundry room and full original church kitchen. Two of the Sunday School rooms now feature queen beds with smart TVs. The third Sunday School room has two twin beds. The living room features two couches, pull out queen sleeper, a full size shuffle board, foos ball table, checkers/chess, treadmill, stage and a 65" smart TV.
