Home in Amherst

Comfortable bedroom on second floor of private home has a queen bed with firm mattress and down comforter, only 3 miles from Amherst center. Full bath across the hall (which is shared if our other guest room is occupied). The house is at the end of a quiet road and backs into woods. Non smoking home, no pets. Limited kitchen access (do not plan to prepare meals here). We offer coffee/tea, toast in the morning. We are not on a bus route- a car is needed here. I’m glad to answer any questions! The space The room is clean, quiet and pleasant. You’ll come in through our main front door and head up the stairs to your room and bathroom. Although there is limited access to the kitchen, you are welcome to use the microwave and to use the patio or dining room for take out meals, rather than eating in the bedroom. Guest access Bedroom, semi private bathroom, shared patio, parking in the driveway. Limited use of kitchen(for coffee/tea and simple breakfast and to microwave prepared food). During your stay We will give you space and privacy but are happy to help with questions about the area. Other things to note We are not on a bus route so a car is needed to get to most area attractions like UMASS and Amherst College. Limited kitchen use: this is not a full kitchen share arrangement. Please do not expect to use the stove to cook your meals here. We are pleased to offer coffee/tea/toast in the morning and space in the fridge to keep some things cold.
