New pictures of the unit will be posted shortly. The space This duplex has a large yard, however no outdoor seating. It features air conditioning in the two bedrooms and in the living area. It is ideal for individuals returning to the island or for working individuals who need an affordable place to stay while working, visiting and can meet our 30 day rental requirement. (Although you do not have to stay for 30 days, the State of Hawaii does not allow shorter rentals in this area). This unit is recently renovated with a new porcelain tile and granite countertops In the kitchen and bath. There is a 15,000 BTU AC in the living room to cool the unit and an 9000 BTU AC in the master bedroom, an 8000 BTU in the second bedroom, so you are always cool and comfortable. There is a new refrigerator with filtered water and ice for your convenience and all kitchen appliances, including cookware, new Samsung drop in range/oven, full size under the counter Whirlpool Dishwasher new microwave and coffee maker, and your own new, full size brand new Samsung Washer and Dryer. The new sofa also is converts to a queen sofa sleeper. Everything in this Unit is brand new, from Furniture to Full Size HE Samsung Washer (we also have a new GE HE Full Size Washer/Dryer, which we ask tenants to share as they are not in use all the time. All utensils, dishes and small appliances are new. The unit recently underwent window and cabinet replacement, and the site will post pictures of the new wooden cabinets, with wrap around granite countertop and eating bar. There is a new Samsung 55” flat screen in the living area and in the Master Bedroom for your comfort and viewing pleasure. This cottage is also fully furnished with 2 queen beds (one in each of the bedrooms), couch, end tables and dining area. The Ashley full size sofa also converts to a pull out queen size bed for additional sleeping arrangements. Furnished rentals are very expensive in Hawaii but we are trying to make things affordable for our guests, who wish to experience life with the locals and yet just minutes from famous Ala Moana Beach, Downtown, or Waikiki Shopping, beaches and for traveling military or medical staff, 5 minutes to Pearl Harbor, Hickman AFB, Kaiser Hospital and Tripler Hospital. We have received the highest ratings and been named a Superhost because this unit provides everything you would want in a home and is truly a “Home away from Home”. Convenient, because you don’t have to lug your groceries up flights of stairs, catch elevators, or walk through parking lots. Just unload your luggage and groceries at the front door and walk in to begin your Hawaiian vacation! We also offer a complimentary 3 hour clean to our guests who stay 40 days or longer to keep their bathroom, kitchen and living area clean. There are ample cleaning supplies and equipment in the unit to keep your unit sparkling as it was when you arrived, so there is never a problem:)! Guest access There is a long private driveway, so parking is never an issue. You can park outside the front door and easily unload your groceries at the front door. No hiking with grocery bags, tight parking spots or endless waiting for an elevator at this unit. Other things to note There is no outdoor seating and this is a basic cottage, but comfortable, spacious and clean with a FULL functional kitchen. There is no pool, spa or barbecue area, but its a comfortable, clean and safe place to come home to for the person who has the luxury of a monthly stay to explore Hawaii.
