This breathtaking resort end unit penthouse is resting on an ocean front property with a loft, vaulted beamed ceilings & is centered in Honokowai between Ka'anapali & Napili beaches of west Maui. After 26 years on Maui, we acquired another stunning suite that is resting on an ocean front property. This two-bedroom two bath townhome is an end unit penthouse offering a master bedroom loft with its own bathroom, with vaulted beamed ceilings and stunning ocean views. This unit is centrally located within Mahinahina between Ka'anapali & Kahana beaches of west Maui. The Kuleana Resort is unlike the larger high-rise resorts, offering an extremely quiet "Old Hawaiian" experience to unwind and relax in. Suite 201 is a unique unit that was completely renovated/redecorated in October of 2022, offering 1180 Sq. ft including lanai for your enjoyment and yearly whale watching between December and April. THE PENTHOUSE AMENITIES: Take in the stunning ocean and sunset views overlooking the garden and pool from the lanai. The suite has been appointed with many amenities of home. There is a newer washer and dryer unit for your convenience located withing the first-floor bathroom and a fully equipped updated kitchen and bathrooms. There are (3) Smart TVs installed into shadow boxes, 65" in the living room, 55" in upper master and 42" in lower master for your enjoyment. We offer free parking and high-speed Wi Fi. In June of 2022 brand new windows have been installed throughout the suite. For those that must have Air-conditioning during your stay, it is in both bedrooms ONLY, however many find the natural fresh air and fans running more enjoyable, its Maui not the hot desert. SLEEPING AREAS/ BATHS: The unit can accommodate up to 6 adults comfortably. There are two bedroom and two bathrooms, one upstairs and one down. The master bedroom is in the loft with a Cal King, and the other bedroom is on the main floor with a Queen, each has a bathroom attached. On the main floor, there is a brand-new upgraded Queen sofa sleeper with a 5" thick memory foam mattress with no bars on your back. RESORT GROUNDS: We offer a large, gorgeous, tiled swimming pool and lounge chairs surrounded by tropical landscape. In the Rec Room by the check-in desk under the Tennis court, there is a library to share books along with ping pong tables. There is a tennis court, shuffleboard, and barbecue areas along the beaches, and we have two beautiful lava rock lined private beaches. NOTE: Due to uncontrollable currents, sand can come and go at each beach throughout the year. NEED A SMALLER OPTION: If this penthouse is too large for you or need additional space, we also have studio suite down the street on the ocean. Please let us know if you also have interest in this as well. Mahalo, Troy and David Guest access DIRECTIONS: Heading north up Highway 30, pass Honoapi'ilani Road street light go about a mile north. Turn left at the next light, AKA, Airport road. Turn left, then left at the "T" dead end on Lower Honoapi'ilani Road. Count drive ways on your right. Turn right at the 5th driveway, being the smallest parking lot in the resort of about 10 spaces. Once you have parked the unit is on the far right upstairs, suite 201. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTES, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! SUITE ACCESS: This is a privately owned Condo, our private home has "NO RESORT FEES" For best directions use your GPS on your cell phone or follow the directions provided under "Guest Access". I will text or email you a video of instructions on how to gain access to the suite. This is a key-less access dead bolt on the front door. RESORT CHECK IN: Upon arrival, you will need to make your presence known at the resort front office. This office is located under the tennis court in the garaged area. State your name, Suite number 201 and the dates of your stay. They will provide you a parking pass to install in your car during your stay. Should you arrive after hours they will put a reminder on your car window go obtain a parking pass the next day. POOL: Please observe pool hours. 9 AM to 9 PM. Pool towels will be provided within the unit on the beds, please do not leave at pool, and return them to the unit. Should you not return your towels you will be charged for these upon departure. NOTE: Please make sure all towels have been shaken out from any sand outside before returned to the unit as sand is our enemy on interiors of homes. Mahalo HOUSE RULES / TRASH Please observe the sign for house rules right of the front door interior and the sign above the kitchen switch for trash. We would truly appreciate it if you will cooperate with these. WATER SHORTAGE: Maui is under a major water shortage. Please do not leave the water running for long periods during showers and at kitchen sink or vanity prep. Mahalo NEED A SMALLER RENTAL OR ANOTHER FOR EXTRA FAMILY: We also have another property up the street at "The Napili Bay Resort. This is a studio condominium on the ocean at a small 34-unit complex with an Old Hawai'i feel. If you would like to visit that site, Airbnb block the site so please read carefully. Type in airbnb.com then a forward slash then the letter h then another forward slash, then type in thenapilibay214, and that will take you to our other property. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a resort of privately owned units, and full time residences especially the owners below our unit. So please do not stomp on floors, yell, scream or play loud music or TV. Quite times are 9 PM to 8 AM. RESORT MAINTENANCE: Though rare, some homeowners may work on their units or resort renovations at any time within the complex to maintain property and make continued updates to improve the resort to make your experience nicer. This may include any building modifications, painting, repairs etc. These tasks are only allowed to be done between 8-4 PM each business day and usually while guests are out touring the island. We, the owners of your rental are not responsible for any noise, dust or construction odors though it is very closely monitored. No discounts, credits etc. will be applied. We appreciate your understating if any of this may be going on during your stay. However, we will inform you of anything Major that may be going on during your stay and inform you months in advance should you wish to change your dates. Mahalo.
