The Great Cape Escape-Bayside Beauty

This cozy cottage is a short walk to historic Dennis Village, a gorgeous, private bayside beach, dining, shopping and the arts. You can park your car for the week and enjoy a quiet beach vacation or get out to explore historic 6A and the National Seashore. Either way, we hope you make our place home base for your best vacation ever. We are happy to share our family gem with considerate, respectful adults or families, looking to enjoy a beautiful vacation and venue! The space This spacious cottage is clean, bright and thoughtfully decorated. The full bath has a walk-in shower. The private, spacious outdoor shower is big enough for families to rinse off kids before coming in for the evening. Three bedrooms; each with their own unique theme, bedding, closet and bureaus. There is one main living area that's spacious and comfy. It's open to the fully equipped kitchen. The dining table has seating for 6. And we keep a stocked game cabinet, dvds, books and Smart TV ready to access your streaming service accounts - great for snuggling in on rainy days. Housekeeping: Linens, bath, kitchen and beach towels are included in the cottage rental fee. There is NO daily housekeeping service. Accessibility: There are 3 steps leading into the front door of the cottage and to get down to the patio area. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire 3 bedroom condo cottage, back, front and side yards, including the patio and outdoor shower. Beach chairs, beach caddy, umbrellas, beach toys/floats are in the bin next to the outdoor shower. The shed is not accessible to guests. It is locked and used for storage only. Other things to note Beach Details: There is a private beach with town access at the end of Nobscusset Rd that is free for our guests to visit. Our cottage is located .7 miles from this beach. Guests may use the beach caddy to haul beach gear. It's very walkable, about 10 minutes. There is no parking for this beach access. The beach can get very small with high tides and conversely can be quite expansive when the tide goes out as we are on the Bay side. Keep an eye on the tide charts so that you can plan your day on the beach when there's plenty of room to spread out. If you choose to drive to a public beach, Mayflower is about 1.6 miles away and about the same distance to Bayview and about 1 mile to Corporation beach. Chapin beach is a little further 2.4 miles. These beautiful and popular bay side beaches fill quickly and beachgoers are frequently turned away early in the day. Plan accordingly. Pack your lunch and the car the night before. Please do not park cars in front of condo-this area is designated as a fire lane by the town. For renters with Electric Vehicles, we have an outdoor, weatherproof, dedicated 240-volt outlet that you are welcome to use with your charger. Please let the host know if you plan to use this amenity. We encourage all guests to purchase traveler insurance.
