RECENTLY RENOVATED! Only 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans is a vacationers Bayou Paradise. Come spend a night, a weekend, or a week sitting on the bayou relaxing, fishing, swimming, boating, cooking, and enjoying company with friends and family right on the bayou!! The space PLEASE NOTE THAT WE RECENTLY RENOVATED THE ENTIRE HOME IN MAY OF 2019. We take guest feedback very seriously and addressed cracked tiles, overall appeal, etc. The whole home was re-sheet rocked, repainted, brand new mattresses, brand new AC units, removed the drop ceiling and opened the ceilings all the way up. The pictures here may not reflect the new and improved look. Same layout, just freshened up! This was and is still not the Four Seasons, but we absolutely love it and hope you will too. We no longer provide fishing poles as they all get destroyed too quickly, so please be sure to bring your own if you'd like to fish off the dock. Hope you enjoy! We call this place a bayou paradise because it really is. It is on a huge, completely fenced in, dog-proof lot with plenty of off street parking and enough room to have a party for 1000. It is right on the water with immediate access to boating, fishing, and the gulf of Mexico. It comfortably sleeps twenty or can be used for five couples with private bedrooms and a bunk bedroom for six kids!! We also recently added a top of the line Mosquito and bug misting system for the entire property! This will help keep all your outdoor fun and relaxing as enjoyable as possible. This is a really unique touch that not many homes can boast about. Guests will have access to everything on the property except for owners' boats and closets. The cooking equipment, boat slips, yard, porch, crab traps, and everything else are yours for enjoyment and relaxation. Please plan to bring your own propane if you plan to use the outside burners or boiling equipment. If you'd like, we can help during your stay with us. We love to entertain our friends and family, especially at this beautiful place. We love to show our guests a great time and help show them the ropes or let them relax and have their own peace and quiet. We try to provide all our guests with exactly the type of experience they are hoping for. This neighborhood is at the end of a dead end road at the end of the highway at the end of Louisiana at the end of North America. Let's just say this is as far int the bayou as you can get by car but still only 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. It is a very quiet neighborhood with two older, retired couples that live on either side. and no other neighbors in site. It is very quiet and peaceful. The fenced lot is completely open for parking with enough space for 20 cars. There is very little public transit in the area, so guests would need their own transportation. This place is really a diamond in the rough. Where else can you have such quiet, peaceful, and easy access to such beautfiul surroundings while still remaining within easy drive of the great city of New Orleans. The answer is NOWHERE!!! Guest access Guests will have access to everything on the property except for owners' boats and closets.
