Thousands of acres of public hunting land nearby. Wildlife, such as Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Elk, Moose, and Deer, can be seen from the Cabin occasionally. Great fly fishing lake right out the back door. The space 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom custom timber frame cabin nestled in Northwest Montana. Private lake front location. Near the town Whitefish, MT and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, 45 minutes from Glacier National Park, 30 minutes from US/Canada Border. Horseback riding nearby, rock climbing nearby, Dog Sled Adventures nearby, groomed cross country ski trails nearby, Extreme High Mountain Skiing nearby, miles of snowmobiling trails (can leave from the cabin during winter months). Beautiful waterfalls just a few miles away. Perfect location to experience a true Montana vacation. Relax in the jetted tub after a day of skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc. 2 pair of snow shoes available, ice fishing equipment available, 2 pair of cross-country skies available, 1 handheld gps available. The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout every other year. The lake is great for swimming, canoeing and kayaking during the summer months. Or home is dog friendly. However, there is an additional fee for dogs, all dogs must be listed and there is a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. Guest access Access to entire home, lake and 10 private acres. Our property borders National Forest land. Other things to note There are 3 levels to this home. All guests must be able to climb stairs. Loft is not appropriate for small children. Absolutely no smoking or illegal substances on the property. Railroad nearby - occasional noise from railroad. Wildlife frequently pass through the property. Wildlife includes, but not limited to, Bear (Grizzly and Black), Elk, Moose, Deer (Whitetail and Mule), Eagles (Bald and Golden), Turkey, Raccoon, Skunk, Martin, and other local animals. This area gets several feet of snow during winter months.
