Welcome to the River House. Perched along the Blackfoot River, this modern recently renovated home is on a gorgeous 7-acre historic homestead property dating from the late 1800s. A dream spot for anglers, adventurers, and those looking for some R&R in a serene location, this property is a true escape-yet only minutes from Missoula. Although easily accessible by highway, you are surrounded by woods, a decades old apple orchard, the original homestead cabin, a large barn, and a hot tub and sauna. The space The 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home boasts a chef's kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and living room with large picture windows. Each bedroom has French doors that open to the sound of the river, leading to an outside patio with ample seating and great views of the river and mountainside. The master bathroom has a large soaking tub with walk-in closet. Grill out on the patio or pull up a chair to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the views of the Blackfoot River. Downstairs is a large family room to unwind in after a day of adventure, watch the Smart TV, or play boardgames. Guest access Located just a few miles up Highway 200 from the historic mill town of Bonner, this home offers great access to outdoor adventures along the Blackfoot River and the Seeley/Swan valley. The KettleHouse Amphitheater, with outdoor concerts, is only a few miles away, and downtown Missoula is an easy 15 minute drive. Be aware of seasonal changes. Although the driveway is maintained, winter driving conditions may apply. Other things to note We’re excited to share that we’ve recently completed the addition of a beautiful sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge area in a private spot overlooking the river. We call this space the Zen Zone and it's a perfect place to unwind and unplug anytime of the year! I only ask that you message me a day or so in advance when you are hoping to use the space. That ensures that I can respect your privacy and I don't do maintenance at that time or soak myself. You are the only guests that have access to the space. You can access the Zen Zone for a maximum of 3hr at a time between 6am and 10pm. Depending on scheduling, you can also arrange an on-site massage for you during your stay! This is a perfect spot to work remotely with high speed Starlink access. The barn, garage, and homestead are for owners storage use only. We do allow dogs with an extra non-refundable pet cleaning fee.
