Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! Our brand new Bunchgrass tent sits up on a knoll surrounded by trees and rock formations overlooking the Tobacco River. A shady patio, a hammock, and comfortable queen bed and two twins make for ideal glamping quarters! We also provide tubes for the river and bikes for rails to trails for guest use, free of charge. The views and privacy afforded by this unit require a short uphill walk. Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come to Tobacco River Ranch for the recreation, but stay to relax! We have four cabins a bell tent and a vintage Airstream to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River ~ all units are spread out and positioned for optimal privacy and big views. Guests have access to a nearby porta-potty, community kitchen and showers - and free use of our bikes, tubes, trails, corn hole, etc! No reason to leave the property, but so much to explore in the area! The views and privacy afforded by this unit require a short uphill walk. (not ideal for people needing to bring a lot of "stuff" up to the tent, although when requested, we can help bring you up with the golf cart!) We ask you to remove shoes in this unit, and while dogs are allowed, we'd also ask you to wipe their feet/dry them if wet from the river...the location makes this one harder to keep clean...and we're Virgos, so we have high standards and the struggle is real! =) You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. This unit has it's own new and pristine compost toilet. If you know any ranchers, you'll know we are "busy" in the summer. We are low-key, and hope you are too! Our website has lots of tips for the area, and there's also info and maps in the community kitchen. Glamping on our ranch is best suited for folks who are self-sufficient campers. We are about a mile outside of the town of Eureka, but you'd never know it. Our land borders state land and is quiet and free of night light pollution! Excellent star gazing and wildlife viewing. All of the cabins and Airstreams at the ranch are positioned for optimal seclusion in a natural setting, which means: We know no one wants their view to be of someone’s car. So some cabins have a little bit of a walk to unpack - we have loading/unloading areas and parking areas. Eureka is a sweet small town, with everything you need - but without crowds. We are truly the Last Best Place. Just an hour from the Flathead, 1 1/2 hours from Glacier Park, and 1 hour 15 from the Kootenai Falls. Ten miles from the Canadian border. Come to Northwest Montana, and experience Montana without the crowds! Our ranch comprises 450 acres of trails and forests and farmland, 1 1/2 miles of river, is adjacent to state forest, and Rails to Trails runs through our property. You can easily walk to town, bike to Lake Koocanusa on Rails to Trails, or spend all day just swimming or walking the trails on our property and watching wildlife. Glacier International (also called Kalispell Regional) - FCA - is the nearest airport. Allegiant offers REALLY cheap flights from the West Coast...Alaska too - and Delta and United fly direct from Denver and Chicago. We are just over an hour from Kalispell - a gorgeous, easy drive. We are also just over an hour from Libby and the Kootenai Falls, a MUST SEE when in Montana! Other Area Tips: ~Stone Hill Rock Climbing = 15 minutes ~10 Lakes Scenic Area = 1 Hour ~Lake Koocanusa = 40 minute bike ride on Rails to Trails, or 10 minute drive ~Stonehenge Replica + Air Museum = 10 minutes (Reservations Required) ~Our area boasts two of the best golf courses in Montana. ~Excellent biking trails right from our property, and beautiful quiet country roads. This unit is up on a hill with uneven terrain. You'll trade a very short uphill walk for beautiful vistas and complete privacy. We provide a wagon to help haul your stuff up, and/or if you need an extra hand and you arrive early enough, we are glad to help you out! By booking, you agree to our liability waiver: In consideration for being permitted by Tobacco River Ranch Glamping (TRR) to participate in glamping, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of participation in glamping.
