The Ranch Hand - Epic Canadian Rockies Views
Welcome to Tobacco River Ranch! With more than 450 acres adjacent to State Forest, and nearly two miles of river running through our property, endless adventure awaits! The Ranch Hand cabin is a guest favorite with a comfy queen bed and ceiling to floor windows to star gaze from your bed, or enjoy the view from your private deck overlooking the river and mountains. We provide tubes for floating the river and bike for rails to trails. The space Originally an old forest service logger's cabin, The Ranch Hand was refurbished it with lots of love, and this structure found it's retirement home at the Tobacco River Ranch perched high on the hillside with epic views of the Canadian Rockies and the Tobacco River. (The views afforded by this cabin are because it's on a hill, a "small" hill, but it's a 50 foot walk up to it, we provide a wagon for your belongings.) Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Our rustic cabins are well furnished and comfortable. We provide everything you need for comfort, in a beautiful, private, quiet setting. There is no power in the cabin, solar lights provided. Guests have access to a community kitchen, bathrooms and showers, as well as tubes and bikes. The Ranch Hand is a private cabin sleeping 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge, or if your party is larger, we have a vintage tiny trailer we can park next to it for an additional fee. (email us!) The Ranch Hand is one of 6 units at Tobacco River Ranch. Check out our other listings. We have four cabins a bell tent and a vintage Airstream to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River ~ all units are spread out and positioned for optimal privacy and big views. We host weddings and family reunions too! Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come for the recreation, but stay to relax! Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! Guest access Your own private and secluded cabin + 450 acres of trails and river. You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.
