Spectacular View. Escape concrete, traffic, and lots of people. Lovely country space, sleeps 4 (ideally 2). Eco & child friendly, spacious, luxury on jungle farm. Secluded, private. Conveniently located nearby beaches, shopping, restaurants, busline, hikes, Ku`aloa. Farm fresh eggs provided each week. We grow `ulu (breadfruit), noni, kalo, chili peppers, papaya, kale, basil, aloe, avocados, cucumbers (in season). Wifi, pull up bar, toys, free parking. We overlook Kaneohe Bay, with daily sunrises and planet/star/moonrises over Mokapu. On the property, there is also a treehouse, garden areas, access to the mountain and ocean (walking distance). We are a bit of an animal rescue center as well, with 2 goats, 6 turkeys, chickens, cats, and Australian Shepard. No animals are allowed inside the unit, however. The rental has its own lanai (with a nice couch and chairs/bbq) and entrance. There are also places to sit around the property, and a jungle hike you can take to an ancient fishing overlook (where you can see up to the North Shore). Once you arrive and park, you enter from the yard to the lanai and into the main room, which has a futon queen bed, great couch, several bookshelves,, a table with stools and the kitchenette.. From the kitchenette area, go down the hall to the bathroom on the left or forward to the second, private bedroom (with a door). The main bedroom has a queen and twin bed, small desk, armor, table and chairs. Off the lanai area, there is also a second bathroom with a separate entrance you can use. It has a washing machine, dryer, and cool copper shower with a view. There is also a garage space that can be used for cooking and dining (interior not pictured). The garage and laundry room are shared facilities (with our family, upstairs). There is a front yard, outdoor space, mountain to climb, etc. There is also a treehouse (very cool). The home was designed by Pip White and Associates. We are on solar and focus on sustainable living, Hawaiian Heritage plants and healthy food. This property is in full compliance with O`ahu laws requiring only one tenant for a 30 day rental period. You can rent a car or take the bus to get around. We are at the top of a hill with no one above us. You can take hikes on the property or find one of the options nearby. You can also hop in the water by walking down to the highway (though nicer beaches are by car or bus). The closest nice beach is Ka`a`awa, about a 5 minute drive or bus ride. Ku`aloa Ranch and Beach Parks are must sees. As is the Japanese Temple just down the road. I usually am upstairs (separate unit and entrance), or available by text and here to help. We live in a lovely home surrounded by a jungle farm and are located in the ahupua`a of Ka`alaea. Gracious living areas open to the spacious covered lanai and spectacular view of Kane`ohe Bay. You can easily go from relaxing on the lanai, hiking into the jungle, snorkeling, going to the mall or catching up on world events. Our location gives you an exclusive experience in the country just minutes from civilization, making it convenient to explore the island of O`ahu. Ideal for 2 but we can do 2-6, depending on the treehouse option. We can sleep a couple, small family or accommodate a group of friends in two rooms. For beds, the Master Bedroom features a Queen size Tempurpedic bed and eco-friendly Lifekind Twin (day bed). The entry room has a queen futon bed (and couch). If you are interested in the treehouse, I am also open to that. There is a queen futon mattress and twin. There is one large half bath with a washing machine as well as a full bathroom in the Master Bedroom with a lovely shower. Downstairs unit. 4 Max for downstairs. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 shared with others). Treehouse options for 2 more. Access to the ocean, if you donʻt want to drive. We are located in the country so traffic and parking are easy while Honolulu town and the big city are only a half hour away. There is also an easy bus line nearby. We are a Hawaiian Heritage emerging farm with a cozy, clean, and confortable rental downstairs. We live upstairs. We have goats, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and bees. Note, we are surrounded by a jungle with bugs you do not want to see in your private space. We take great care to keep the house clean and free of vermin in particular, in an eco-friendly way.
