The space **THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. This vacation home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is best suited for families and guests who are looking to relax. Please don’t book this property if you plan to have any type of party. The first floor has an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining, and living room with a half bath. On the second floor, you'll find a private master suite with a soaking tub and shower on one side and a second master bedroom and a full-size bunk room with a full bath on the other. All rooms upstairs have peekaboo views of the ocean and back river. There is a large outdoor space with a bunkhouse for older kids, a bar for adults, an outdoor shower, a large BBQ, and seating for 12+ Other things to note Note for winter guests and anyone traveling to Windansea. There is nothing like New England beaches in the summer. We also love this charming New England town in the winter, especially around The fall and the winter Holidays. You should know that the beaches are beautiful and become even more peaceful and serene in the winter months. It’s not uncommon to spot snowy owls and other wildlife on your walks but know some winter days can be cold if your not dressed accordingly. Especially if you’re traveling from out of state or another country and not used to New England winters. You should also know that we typically remove the outdoor furniture during winter months and that the 4th bedroom bunkhouse does not have heat (Nov-March) but not to worry, **Windansea is cozy, warm , spacious and packed with lot’s of fun amenities like musical instruments, games, puzzles, record players, fast internet and smart TVs.** We also lowered the nightly rate in the winter months to help make your stay more comfortable. Duxbury beach park remains beautiful for walking in the winter and Windansea remains the perfect launching pad to take in all the charming sites that New England has to offer.
