This second story apartment in the heart of charming Decorah, above Convergence CiderWorks, is clean and cozy with an open floor plan with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the gem of Northeast Iowa. The two bedroom suite can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably with the two bedrooms (with queen beds), a full bathroom (with washer and dryer for your convenience) and sofa sleeper. The space has been thoughtfully remodeled and furnished in a modern style and includes a private entry. Within the apartment, the kitchen is nicely equipped with all the essentials and there is also a work area so you can handle life should it come calling while you’re on retreat. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light and a unique view of downtown Decorah with its charming shops, restaurants, grocery stores and art scene ~ all within walking distance. The apartment is located above a community Cider House and there is an art studio (with open studios hosted nightly so you can tap into your inner artist) across the street! Whether you're making plans for a brewery release stay, a romantic getaway, fishing trip, or a weekend with your friends this space has everything you need! Guests enjoy full access to the space with a private entry, there is ample parking in the cidery parking lot (please don't park on the gravel areas) and there is on-street parking surrounding the building. From the apartment you can walk to everything in downtown Decorah and the area’s world class fishing and award winning breweries are only minutes away. Entrance to the scenic 11 mile Trout Run trail that loops around Decorah is blocks away with bike or snow play rentals available in town. Access to the Upper Iowa River with fishing and kayaking opportunities is also just around the corner. Go paddle boarding, or rent kayaks and go fishing, enjoy Decorah’s unique festivals, stay for an event at Luther College or enjoy the Decorah Farmers Market (in the Oneota Co-op Parking lot June - October). Throw down your gear and get outside and enjoy what you came here for ~ the beautiful outdoors and lively small town charm.
