Offering Wi-Fi, hot tub, BBQ, A/C, fenced back yard, and stunning home décor, you`ll love it! Fantastic location just three blocks from downtown Red Lodge, this quaint home offers so much character. Orion's View is remodeled and lots of the history of the home was exposed in the process and now featured. You've really got to see it! The relaxing living area has a bay window to watch the deer pass by and an electric fireplace for just the perfect ambience. There are two bedrooms located upstairs - one room with a queen bed and one with a full bed, and there is a small sleeping area on the main level with a twin bed. Both of the upper bedrooms feature sky lights right above the beds for star gazing! There is a full bath on the main level. The back yard is private and fenced with a hot tub, available year-round, and a propane BBQ, firepit. Perfect for every season. Just picture yourself snuggled in for the night staring up at the stars and if you're lucky you may even see Orion's Belt! Just a note - please do understand that the bathroom is on the main floor. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs so those guests need to travel down the stairs in the night to visit the restroom. Orion's view is 7.4 miles to Red Lodge Mountain. This home is Not Dog-Friendly. Red Lodge, nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down. Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (Although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, Jimmy Choos are probably not a great idea!) In winter the road ends here. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us. In summer we revel in the Beartooth Pass opening. We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Red Lodge, Montana is a rural community that does offer internet and cell service throughout most geographic areas but, some locations are completely void of any internet or cell service. In town and within a 3-5 mile radius of downtown you will enjoy solid cell signal but during times when our population increases due to events, celebration (such as the Fourth of July), or emergency situations such as a wildfire you will notice that these online and cellular services slow down and sometimes, they can slow down to the point where you have to wait to place a call. We can’t do anything to help in these situations, so we encourage people to enjoy the freedom of being “unplugged” and to be patient.
