The space Originally built in 1980 as Anaconda’s Masonic Lodge, Pintler’s Portal was completely remodeled in 2021 into a welcoming Montana adventure lodge and hostel where adventure gathers — designed for travelers who value comfort, community, affordability, and outdoor exploration. Named Montana’s Best Hostel in 2023, 2024, and 2025 by Distinctly Montana Magazine, the lodge offers a rare combination of authentic Montana character, spacious gathering areas, and easy access to some of the state’s best recreation. The building is secured, and two days prior to check-in you will receive your personalized access code for easy self-check-in through the front entrance.
