Huron Village House Shared Lower
Huron Village House Shared Lower
Description
You must love dogs! Bruno, my big, lovable mixed Rottweiler/Pitbull, and his little buddy Leo, an adorable Pomeranian, are part of the package. Guests must be comfortable living with and occasionally helping care for them. Ann, my roommate, is around more than me and maybe your point of contact. My brother and his wife have their dogs, Bodie and Teddy, live upstairs in a separate unit. Our Huron Village home offers cozy living spaces and sits in a quaint commercial neighborhood we adore. The space They call this house type “Philadelphia style.” The first floor is pretty open with a living room/dining room/kitchen - and the bathroom and my bedroom. The room for rent is up a set of stairs to the single room on the second floor. It is an old house with some natural charm. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated about six years ago. There are hardwood floors throughout - and great natural light. It is brightly decorated with lots of original eclectic art. We have parking permits, and it is easy to find street parking if needed. Huron Village is excellent - with lots of quaint stores and markets. No cars are needed for much, however, as so much is walkable, and the bus to Harvard Square is literally out the front door - and it’s only a 20-minute walk to get there on your own. Guest access I have a well-stocked kitchen and pantry, and guests can make themselves at home in it and create whatever they need. There is also a big storage basement which has a private washer and dryer. Other things to note A big part of my accepting guests is my comfort and your comfort with Bruno. He is a big love of a dog - which is great if you love dogs but not if you don't. Please consider this when inquiring. Also, I'm willing to consider a further reduced rate for extra care of Bruno, but it is not required.
