Aloha Kona Ohana - 2 min from Ali'i Drive

This modern studio is the perfect place for relaxing after a long day of exploring the Big Island. This cozy and clean private Ohana has everything you need for your vacation getaway. A close 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to downtown Kona’s Ali’i Drive, we are located “Makai” side of Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy, on a quiet, no through road. The space Enjoy a cocktail on the back patio under the bistro lights. Make use of the outdoor table and couches, and enjoy the tropical landscape and sounds with a cup of Kona coffee. Studio is complete with a Casper memory foam queen mattress, shower, and kitchenette. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and electric kettle are provided (no stovetop). Charcoal grill available on the patio dining area. Charcoal and grilling materials provided. We have a Brita filter and sparkling waters for guests. We provide Kona coffee, sweeteners, oatmeal, popcorn, ramen, and snacks! Upon arrival, find a detailed welcome book with information about restaurants, beaches, day trips, hiking, and excursions. We are available to answer any questions to make your stay more enjoyable. Beach chairs (2), towels (2), umbrella, boogie board, and cooler available as well as ice packs in the mini freezer. There is street parking, however it can be scarce. GUEST ACCESS: Guests will have private access to the “Ohana” studio via the right side gate of our home. Door to studio labeled “OHANA”. Lock box code provided prior to check in. $20 Early check-in at 1:00pm, if possible $20 Late out check out at 12:00pm Other things to note Feel free to check the amenities. There is no washer/dryer on site. We have a clothes line for beach towels, swimsuits, etc. Tykes Laundromat is a 5 minute drive away with an option for laundry drop off and pick up. In our tropical climate, cockroaches, ants, geckos, gnats, and spiders are ubiquitous. Keeping the unit clean and free of food residue will greatly reduce this inconvenience. Please consider when buying plastic water bottles, that Hawaii County does not recycle bottles larger than 68 oz, and only accepts glass, aluminum, and plastic containers with the “HI-5 ¢” mark. Please respect our ʻāina and use reef conscious sunscreen.
