Located in a historic bamboo forest, just 10 minutes from Honokaa town with restaurants and shops, and 20 minutes from Waipio Valley's black sand beaches! The spacious living room is ideal for yoga, meditation, and relaxation. Sofa turns into sleeper for 2 additional guests. Includes a fully equipped kitchenette lets you prepare quick meals.. The space is about 800 sq. ft.! The space We are located in the north of the Big Island, so we don’t experience any VOG (volcanic smog) and are safe from volcanic activity, enjoying the best air quality year-round. The space is cozy and quiet, including a large Buddha at the entrance for positive energy. You’ll have restful sleep with cooler night temperatures, accompanied by the sounds of wild birds and animals. The property is my favorite place to write and rejuvenate. The main road is one of Lance Armstrong's top five biking spots in the world (as mentioned in one of his posts), so you might see occasional bike tours. There are many nearby coffee farms and orchards. VIP guests often stay on retreat to write or connect with nature, so please respect quiet hours from 10pm to 8am to ensure a peaceful experience for all. There’s also the Zen House across the courtyard, and if you'd like to book the entire retreat center for events, please let us know.
