Sea Haven

Welcome to Sea Haven! Take off your shoes and put your car keys away; you will not be needing either at this tranquil oasis in the center of Beach Haven, NJ. One block away from 8 of the best restaurants on LBI. Two blocks to the bay, 5 blocks to the beach. Fire up the grill and relax around the fire pit as the sun sets over the bay. Relax every evening with two outside sunset decks. The space You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect. Guests have access to the full property. The space: Sea Haven is a reverse living home. One flight of stairs to enter the home and a flight to the main living space. There is a flight of stairs to the basement which can be accessed from the first floor hallway. There is no elevator. The first floor includes a family room/TV room, office nook, three guest bedrooms (one with an en suite), hall bathroom with shower, and a laundry room. You will also find a first floor deck with three rocking chairs. The second floor includes the king bed master suite, powder room, kitchen, dining, and living room with tv. There is a deck off the living space with a dining table seating for 6 and a outside couch to relax on and watch sunsets. The kitchen includes a full size (Bunn) coffee maker with coffee filters, microwave tucked in cabinet below the coffee maker, toaster, full size oven, gas cooktop, oversized refrigerator with freezer, ice maker, and toaster. There is plenty of dish and drink ware along with cooking utensils and supplies. We do provide a starter sponge and dish soap as well as dish towels. A full-size garage is available to guests for which you can park your car. It also includes an additional full size refrigerator/freezer, grilling equipment, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cart, a couple surfboards/boogie board and wetsuits. Beach towels are not included. The fenced in back yard can be accessed via the gate on the east side of the home or through the garage. You will find a full size grill, table and chairs, a fire pit (firewood is not provided) surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs. There are two outside showers available to guests (except for November to April due to freezing risk). Eight beach badges are provided for the home (in season: last weekend in June to Labor Day) Sea Haven Cancellation Policy: • Our cancellation policy is firm which means you will get a full refund up to 30 days before check-in. • We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance. • Last minute cancellation requests due to extreme weather: We will consider refunds or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis if there is a National State of Emergency issued for the State of New Jersey, or other major weather event such as a named Tropical Storm or Cyclone warning. • Airbnb does have a Major Disruptive Events policy for national events, outages, natural disasters and government mandated travel restrictions. Guest access The owner's closet in the basement is locked. All other areas are open to guests. Other things to note A front door access code will be delivered to guests the day before check-in, which will become active at check-in time.
