Each luxurious cabin merges function and design to produce a wonderful vacation stay. HIGHLANDER CABIN The HIGHLANDER CABIN has 1,070 square feet, three bedrooms, one full bath, and sleeps eight. SPECTACULAR VIEWS Each cabin has an incredible view from the ridge line to the mountains across the valley. All of our cabins are built to ensure you a comfortable and luxurious yet homey stay. Each cabin is designed with an open layout of fully functional kitchen, dining area, and living room surrounding a cozy propane fireplace. The kitchen will have all of your dishes, utensils, some standard spices, microwave, and coffee maker, in addition to the full size refrigerator, oven, stove top, dishwasher and disposal. Just pick up your groceries down the hill at the local grocery in Hungry Horse. They sell wine and beer as well choice cuts of meat for the grill, fresh produce, local coffee, a selection of organic items, and all the staples you might need. The HIGHLANDER cabin at The Ridge has three bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. Rest well on your queen-sized bed downstairs or your king-sized bed upstairs. The HIGHLANDER cabin has a third bedroom with two full-sized beds as well. Snuggle up in your comforter in a room décor designed to make your decision to jump out of bed a tough choice. The HIGHLANDER cabin has windows on three sides to take in the scenic views. The upstairs bedrooms provide panoramic views of the mountain peaks reminding you that you just woke up in the beautiful mountainous forests of Montana. The HIGHLANDER cabin also has a beautifully designed full bath and a stackable washer/dryer for convenience. Every room is equipped with a ceiling fan and an electric heating unit with its own thermostat control so if you’re traveling with friends, everyone stays comfortable. The Ridge is located 8 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. The park is more than 1,500 square miles of fabulous mountains and scenic beauty. The Going-to-the-Sun road crosses the Continental Divide reaching an elevation of 6,646 at Logan's Pass providing amazing views of peaks soaring above 10,000 feet. At an elevation of 3,300 feet, the cabins at The Ridge are arrayed along a ridgeline so each cabin has a beautiful view of Teakettle Mountain rising to nearly 6,000 feet. The Ridge is located approximately 1 mile from U.S. Highway 2 which provides direct access to Glacier National Park. Highway 2 also connects our guests to Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Hungry Horse. Kalispell is home to Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) which is 17 miles from The Ridge and is served by Delta, United, Alaska and Allegiant airlines as well as a host of car rental companies. Whitefish has downhill skiing at Big Mountain, as well as picturesque shops and an assortment of fine dining. Whitefish is located 19 miles from The Ridge and Big Mountain is an additional 7 miles past Whitefish. Hungry Horse is 3 miles from The Ridge and has a small grocery store for convenience. It is also home to the Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir providing hydroelectric power to the region. The reservoir stretches nearly 40 miles into the mountains is a worthy scenic drive. Columbia Falls is 10 miles from The Ridge and has a major supermarket as well as other retail options. Amtrak has a stop at West Glacier. However, you will want to make local transportation arrangements prior to arrival. There is public transportation inside the park, but getting around the area generally requires a car.
