Surrounded in bamboo and fruit trees, relaxing comes easy. Original, modern, memorable, the 2BR located on the bottom floor of my residence has 12' ceilings and huge doors, which gives it a fresh airy feel. The kit/bar is located on an expansive covered deck merging the indoors with the out. Beautiful sunsets just down the street. AC in bedrooms. The leisure suite was designed to be light, playful, pleasurable. Dynamic colors, creative lines, and an openness created by its high ceiling and doors make it just an enjoyable space to be in. Right outside, front and back, decks give you a space to hang out or access to the yard with all its tropical mystery. There is a window ac in each bedroom. Sorry, currently not handicap accessible. The whole down stairs living unit including the front and back yard. I live upstairs in a completely separate suite in the house. I am dedicated in providing everything needed for a great stay. That said, I really try to understand what the guest wants. I know people love to meet and be social with people in the airbnb community, and others just want space to do there own thing. I am accommodating to both. The neighborhood is in an established, desirable area. Its elevation of 650' give it the perfect mix of tropical warmth with night time coolness. Being located on a relatively flat street with endless views of the coast, the area is very popular with friendly walkers and runners. The Walua hiking path is blocks away for longer adventures. Conveniently located between Kailua and Keauhou, it is minutes from a grocery store, pharmacy, theaters, restaurants, the famous Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu'u snorkel and surf beach. Car rental is most popular means of transport. Both Uber and Lift have service on the island. An open air trolley provides transport along the coast between downtown Kailua and Keauhou. Conventional bus travel exist between Hilo and Kona with stops in between. Our TV is 55'' smart TV, which allows you to watch Netflix, Youtube, etc. There is no cable.
