Other things to note The house has the distinction of being visited by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on one of his first visits to MIU in 1975. This was recently confirmed by the son of the then owner, who was 9 years old at the time. He said Maharishi was out walking and came up to the door to meet the owner, who was the President of Fairfield Rotary Club. There seems to be no other house in Fairfield that has this distinction. The neighborhood is very quiet. The street is a cul-de-sac, and the house is at the very end, so there is no traffic noise. Access to the Fairfield Loop walking and cycling trail is at the end of the street. The owner has a man's bicycle which guests can use.
