Description

Tucked along the Kohala coast lies the beautifully secluded Starseed Ranch, only one mile from the breathtaking Pololū Valley. Surrounded by powerful ocean, lush jungle, fertile agriculture, and rushing streams, it’s the perfect place to reconnect with the land and center yourself in nature while enjoying modern comforts. Our 26-acre estate is completely off-grid, run by hydroelectric and solar systems. We have several lodging options available, please see our other listings. The space Coconut Hale IMPORTANT: We are not a hotel and no one will be here to check you in. All guests are self checkin. You will be sent a property map once you book. Please save or screenshot the map so you can navigate to your hale and around the property. The Coconut Hale is the most spacious of our cabins, with wrap-around garden view windows and customizable bed options for sleeping up to 4 guests. Designed in Balinese style with exposed timber framing, hala mat, and bamboo accents, the room includes a king bed (or 2 twin beds), lounge/day bed, closet area, shelves, and a lanai with a private toilet and outdoor sink. The kitchen and dining area, outdoor seating, and fire pit are all nearby. Throughout the beautifully landscaped grounds, you will find Balinese-style buildings and covered walkways, and a diverse tropical orchard and farm. The center of the ranch features lodging, kitchen, dining, classroom/movement space, and a bathhouse. Starseed is a special and unique destination. The land here is filled with mana and natural beauty, providing the perfect setting for your next adventure. A few things to note: *The Coconut Hale only has a toilet and an outdoor sink. The Coconut hale shares the outdoor showers in the Balinese bathhouse with all other guests staying on property. *We are on an organic farm in tropical Hawaii. There are insects and geckos that find their way into the hales from time to time. *Hale doors do not have locks. We have never had an issue with theft or anyone entering anyone else's space. *There is wifi available in the kitchen and dining area, although the signal strength can be affected by the weather. WiFi is not available in any of the hales. *The shared kitchen is not available from 1-8:30 pm every Thursday due to our Farm to Table Dinner Experience, which includes a Tropical Food Forest and Farm Tour + Farm to Table dinner.
