Nestled in a sweet spot among beaches, Bearskin Neck, and Halibut Point, The Nest is your home base for exploring Cape Ann, Salem, Boston, and more…an oasis where friends and family can relax and recharge. Hang out in the open floorplan, grill on the deck, or cook in the well-appointed kitchen and gather round the table for a family meal. The space Notes about sleeping arrangements: * There are five beds: ---Bedroom #1 (first floor): King bed ---Bedroom #2 (second floor): King bed ---Bedroom #3 (second floor): Two Twin XL beds. We can connect these to make a King upon advance request. ---Office (second floor): Twin bed. This room has doors that close but everyone has to walk through it to get to the bathroom. * The house sleeps 6 comfortably in bedrooms and 7 if you use the twin bed in the office. * All rooms with beds have room-darkening shades. * The beds and pillows are of varying firmness, so if you don't like one, try another! * See the floorplan in the photos for more info. Guest access You have full access to the property with the exception of a few storage areas and the basement. Other things to note Amenities of this newly renovated farmhouse include: * Level 2 EV charger * Whole-house air conditioning and heating (climate-friendly electric heat pump) * A ceiling fan in two bedrooms as well as the living room and dining room * A well-appointed kitchen with new appliances; oils, herbs, spices, flour, sugar; and cooking gear of all sorts * First-morning breakfast sundries including coffee, tea, milk, and cereal * 3 private workstations, one with a monitor and printer you can connect to * 2 Roku smart TVs that let you log into your own streaming accounts * Laundry machines, detergent, iron & ironing board * Loads of books, toys, and games * Child-friendly tableware, booster seat, baby/toddler bathtub, Pack & Play, and baby gates * Beach accessories: towels, beach bag, umbrella, cooler, chairs & toys * Large deck with a gas grill, furniture, and Cuisinart Chiminea fire pit * Two full bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combo (on first floor) and one with a walk-in shower (on second floor). * Parking for 3 cars in the driveway There are three security cameras on the property that are on and recording at all times, for your safety and ours: * One doorbell camera at the front door * One doorbell camera at the side door * One camera pointing at the driveway from the house There is a Minut sensor in the living room that alerts us to extremely high decibel levels, to prevent disturbances to the neighborhood. It does not record sound.
