THE CHELSEA HOUSE: A well-maintained 1900s apartment located on the third floor of a quiet, clean three-family brick building on a small one-way street. It features hardwood floors, exposed brick, and slanted loft ceilings creating a charming, warm, and cozy atmosphere. Parking is included. The Chelsea House is our home away from home, and we have decided to share it with others. Thank you in advance! The space My Cleaning Team follows new additional guidelines on disinfecting the unit. I carry a consistent rating as a Super host with 5 stars on cleanliness (Thank you to my cleaning team). Cleanliness has always been my top priority. I have very high expectations in this area. I understand that there is so much uncertainty in life at the moment, but cleanliness is one thing you can count on here. Rest assured, you are in good hands as always. Thank you. BUILDING: -Third floor: 2 staircases, totaling 24 steps to climb (consider this when booking, especially if you have large or heavy luggage or traveling with the elderly) -Built-in 1900, the stairs are steep and narrow, not traditional -Very well maintained and charming -Hardwood floors -Slanted ceilings -Brick walls Fully equipped and set up for guests, everything is for your use during your stay. KITCHEN: Fully ready to be cooked in. -Pot/pans -Dishes/mugs/glasses -Spices -Filtered water pitcher -Coffee/tea -Sugar -Microwave -Full-size stove and fridge - Paper towels LIVING ROOM: -Faux electric fireplace (adds additional heat for the winter months or enjoy the fire without the heat in warmer months) - AC Portable - Pullout desk, there is also a wifi printer/scanner in the bedroom -Some office supplies -Smart TV for streaming, Netflix, Hulu - DVD player and videos -Books/games BATHROOM: -Small but with a full tub/shower -Shampoo, conditioner -Hairdryer, straightener -Toilet paper -Toothpaste -Shower gel -Bath towels. BEDROOMS: -Queen beds -ACS -Closets w/hangers -Dressers -Vanity/full-length mirror (primary bedroom) -Small iron board - Iron CHILDREN: - Variety of toys -games -Books -Electric train set PARKING: One spot (Available during your stay only). You can fit a truck in the parking spot. It's easier to fit a sedan size car or smaller. Smaller is best if you don't park well. Please do not park until check-in time at 3 pm. Remove the car when you check out at 11 am. I'm happy to accommodate if you'd like to park it earlier or later if I can, but arrangements (if there's availability) must be made beforehand or when making a reservation. Thank you. Beware!!- THE DRIVEWAY IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUILDING! NOT ACROSS THE STREET. If you park across the street, you WILL get TOWED! I attached a photo in my listing to give you a visual. If you have questions, please ask. Guest access Guests will fully use the apartment—a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement- shared with the other tenants. Other things to note - 5 minutes from the airport is highly convenient, but keep in mind that there is NOISE. The planes have different routes. There are days when their route is over, my neighbor. The apartment is soundproof, but you will hear aircraft above. Keep this in mind when booking - High-speed internet - Coin-op washer/dryer in Basement/shared with tenants in the building. - Proch off the kitchen with table/chairs. - Mindful of Uber, they do not always find the street. Best to walk to the top of the street for pick up. There is a portable AC in the living room. The vent is out the sliding door. I didn't seal it thoroughly so you can open the door for the sea breeze on cooler nights. Just be gentle with it. I will remove all ACs by October. KEEP IN MIND - The living portable AC will keep the heat down but not cold during extreme heat waves. Please be mindful of our environment when using the HEAT, AC, WATER, and TOWELS.
