Visit for the hikes, stay for the luxury bedding...AHHHHH. We are firm believers that a vacation can be absolutely ruined by a low-quality mattress and cheap rental sheets: We bought top of the line Sealy Silver Chill mattresses, Boll and Branch sheets (2 sets per bed) and a variety of pillows. With black-out blinds installed in both bedrooms, we are confident you'll sleep like a baby! The king suite is extremely private on the first floor. The queen bedroom is on the main floor, with a bathroom right next door. Open loft on 3rd floor has queen bed. NO pull-out couch-nobody likes those! +Are you the adventurous type? Ride bicycles every day if you like! We include 4 great cruiser bicycles (a $60/day per bike rental value!). Check out the bike path along the river right beside our neighborhood! Special outdoor amenities you won't find in other rentals: 4 Head pickleball paddles plus balls, walkie-talkies, monocular, lightweight backpacks, reusable lunch boxes, oversized lined picnic blanket, lawn chairs, cooler, even a portable corn hole game! +Working from home? Us too! We found that the Alta Views community wifi DOES NOT allow a connection to the VPN for work, so we asked Spectrum to install our own personal high-speed wifi to solve that problem. In the loft, you'll find a custom solid maple "desk bed" with storage for clothing or office supplies. By day, it has ample lighting, power and space to complete your tasks. By night, one person can very simply lower the desk (leaving everything on it!) and it becomes a comfortable queen bed with upgraded mattress. +Love coffee? Well, so do we! Options are: Nespresso with pods, drip coffee with insulated pot- also a high quality bean grinder, or use the goose neck electric kettle for a great pour over! Lots of options for tea (bag or loose leaf) and a Capresso that makes the perfect cup of hot chocolate! Be sure to take advantage of the cool mornings and enjoy your beverage outside on the balcony with a view of Big Mountain! +Love to cook? Got you covered: Vita Mix blender, Insta-Pot with slow cooker and sous vide options, kitchen aid stand mixer and food processer, and upgraded cookware, bakeware and high- quality knives. Feel like baking a fresh huckleberry pie or Flathead cherry cobbler? The electric range even comes with a double oven. The Shindig has everything you need! +How about a game night? TONS of games, even some kids' games. You'll find a 65" Samsung smart TV in the family room, with cable and streaming capabilities, outfitted with a Sonos soundbar. There is also a Sonos 501 speaker, which provides fantastic movie surround sound, or great music-just download the Sonos app and play your favorite tunes from your device. +How about a cocktail? We have all the barware you need: wine, champagne, cordial, high ball and double old fashioned glasses. Shaker, muddler, corkscrew, even wine charms. (Check out Huck's Place in town-they make their own ginger beer!) +We have a Nest thermostat, Nest doorbell and Nest camera in the garage-NO CAMERAS in the home! Easy access using your own code with electronic Yale locks on front and back doors. You will love the convenience of an attached, heated 2-car garage. +The community clubhouse has a small gym, pool table and outdoor hot tubs. +You can pack lighter when you take advantage of our over-sized top-load washer and dryer right off the kitchen +Our location could not be better: approx 1 mile to downtown Whitefish, and just 30 minutes to Glacier National Park. 15 minutes to Kalispell for any chain store shopping you need. Just a few blocks from the free SNOW bus stop for convenient access to the mountain in the winter! It really is heaven on earth! We know you'll be addicted to the The Shindig, just like we are! :)
