Next availability March 4th - 17th An upscale villa, in the prime location, with one of the prettiest views at our resort. With its boutique hotel feel, spacious unobstructed ocean views and beachy style, it's the perfect accommodation for a family or two couples. Our beach bar, along with the golf course, marina, shops, restaurants and luau, are all within walking distance of our home. Resort living at it’s finest. Welcome to your home away from home in the Islands. Unique features of this villa include the top floor, front of the building location and the multiple lanais off of the master, guest bedroom and living area. This villa also has no neighbors on two sides allowing for additional privacy. We look forward to welcoming you back for a healthy and restorative experience. BEDDING Sleeping options include a king master bedroom; two twins or a king bed in the guest bedroom; plus two sleeper sofas in the living room. The villa has two full bathrooms with showers and deep soaking tubs. VIEW Expansive view of the Beach, Ocean, Lagoon Pool, Lap Pool, Koi Pond, and the three Ko Olina lagoons. PROVIDED Bed linens, along with bathroom and beach towels. The villa also has an assortment of beach toys and other accessories. Please look first before spending additional money on these items. Please use the shower facilities at the beach to rinse off the beach toys, prior to bringing them back to your villa. WHY THIS VILLA? Our unit has a front facing balcony with direct unobstructed ocean views. The villa across from us has a fire escape stairwell blocking the direct ocean view. Both villas are described as having ocean front views with similar prices. Please do your research so you'll be comfortable with your villa selection. Latest COVID Info As of March 26th, the State of Hawaii safe travels program is discontinued. You no longer need to upload documentation to the State and screening is no longer performed pre-departure or upon arrival. Masks are no longer required. Also, as of March 5th, restaurants are no longer required to check vaccination cards or COVID tests. We have invested in Bipolar Needlepoint Ionizer's (no ozone) for our villa, as used at the Four Seasons Resort next door. The Ionizer's are installed in our villa's two zoned AC systems and according to the manufacturer reduces COVID and other viruses/bacterias from hard surfaces by 99.98% in 60 minutes. We look forward to your safe return. ABOUT RENTING IN HAWAII All legal listings in Hawaii collect and remit taxes to the State of Hawaii. The City and County of Honolulu is in the process of shutting down 10,000 illegal rental units on Oahu. Also Bill 41 was just signed into law and properties outside of the resort zones are now required to rent for a minimum of 90 days. Properties inside of the resort zone are required to rent for a minimum of 30 days. We are in a resort zone but also designated a legal short term rental unit, which allows stays as short as six nights. TA-059-216-2816-01 2022/ELOG-17 You'll have access to our beautiful beach, our lagoon pool and our quiet pool, three hot tubs, beach bar, Wolf B-B-Q grills set beachside and at the back of the lagoon pool, fitness center, men's and woman's locker rooms with steam room and sauna, and our beautiful grounds. We provide parking in our underground garage. Nadia (my sister) will be here to greet you upon arrival at the front desk. She will assist you with check-in and will show you how to operate the various amenities in your villa. She and mom (Buena) are around to answer any questions during your stay. A DAY IN THE LIFE ------------------------------------------------------- Start by swimming laps at the beach in the lagoon in front of our property. Spend a few minutes relaxing on the wide sandy beach, with toes in the sand as that country song goes. If the kids are up, play a little football in the sand before heading up to your villa for breakfast. Fresh Papaya and Pineapple, breakfast pastries, Portuguese sausage, rice and eggs, followed by a latte and POG juice. The perfect Hawaiian breakfast. On to the fitness center for some treadmill time and weight lifting or jog along the beach front path. As a reward, go and sit in the sauna and steam room, my favorite (Dad). Head off for a massage, perhaps a one and a half hour long hot stone massage, my favorite (Mom) at the Four Seasons, Disney Aulani or call for an in-villa massage. The rest of the family can visit the lagoon pool for some fun in the sun. Cruise by and visit the Beach Bar. Have the kids order Brain Freezes all around. Cherry with Passion Fruit, (Daughter's Favorite along with the Chocolate, or Son's favorite Mango.) At lunch, take the path that runs along the ocean that connects the lagoons together and eat at Longboard's on Lagoon Three. The fish tacos and the pulled Kalua Pork sandwich are favorites. You could also head over to the new shopping center and order some sandwiches for the beach at the Island Country Market or eat at our local favorite, Monkeypod Kitchen. After lunch, head back to the property for some snorkeling in the lagoon to see the colorful fish and to look for Tripod, our three legged sea turtle that frequents our lagoon. On the way back to your villa, stop by the front desk and setup some activities and restaurant reservations or head over to Costco, (one exit away, about five minutes) and pick up some USDA Prime Rib Eye steaks, Ahi (Tuna) steaks and shrimp. Marinate them in some Huli Huli sauce and grill them by the pool at sunset while enjoying drinks from the beach bar while the kids swim. A great way to end the day. ------------------------------------------------------- There is an ocean front walkway that connects all four beach lagoons together. Walk along the wide promenade to restaurants, the luau, shopping, etc. Rent a car at the airport as you'll want a car to tour around the Island. It's an easy drive to our property on the H-1 going West until it ends. Drive a little further until you see the freeway exit sign for Ko Olina. (Note that you won't be on the freeway any longer but still on the same road, you'll see the large freeway looking exit sign on the right for Ko Olina.) Good to know: Avoid driving during 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. If your flight arrives by 3:00 pm, your good to go. If it's after that time, spend the time having dinner or drinks in town first rather than in rush hour traffic. The food court or one of the restaurants at Ala Moana would be a great choice. The beachfront location of La Mariana Sailing Club (Hawaii 5-0, 50 1st dates, currently closed for filming), is a good option for a kitschy Hawaiian vibe, right East of the airport. Same for Nico's on Pier 38, for seafood in a casual setting. Liliha Bakery is also a good choice for lighter fare. With suitcases, I would skip Chinatown though they are close by and have may excellent choices. Your rate includes a parking place at our property so no extra cost there. Once you have booked your stay, airbnb will allow us to exchange phone #'s and email addresses. ------------------------------------------------------- You should see a separate line on the price for Occupancy taxes and fees. We are from Hawaii and know the local area well. Allow us to assist you in getting the most out of your Hawaiian vacation. Nadia (my sister) will be here to greet you upon arrival at the front desk. She will assist you with check in and will show you how to operate the various amenities in your villa. She and mom (Buena) are around to answer any questions during your stay. We have maintenance staff on-property and guest activities can be scheduled at the front desk or at the beach bar. Drive through the gates of our resort and immediately feel the calm come over you as you leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind. Waikiki, the North Shore, Honolulu, the great shopping and restaurants are all here on Oahu, but once you arrive at the resort, it feels like you went to one of the outer islands like Maui or Kauai. The best of both worlds. To and from the airport A rental car is the best option to get to and from the airport. This will also come in handy when touring around the Island. We will provide you with our assigned parking stall, included in the rate. It's an easy drive to our property on the H-1 going West until it ends. Drive a little further until you see the green freeway looking exit sign for Ko Olina. (Note that you won't be on the freeway any longer but still on the same road.) If you don't wish to rent a car for the entire trip, you can book with speedishuttle for round trips to the airport or you may call a taxi, or use Uber and/or Lyft. On the days you wish to venture out, both the Disney Aulani and the Marriott Beach Club, located on either side of us, have Alamo rent-a-car locations. I would book this in advance though, as their inventory is limited. Within the Ko Olina Resort There is an ocean front walkway that connects all four beach lagoons together. Walk along the wide promenade to restaurants, the luau, marina and shopping. When you exit our beach gate, the Four Seasons and Disney Aulani will be to your right. The Marriott Beach Club and Marina will be to your left. Good to know: Avoid driving during 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm, rush hour. Check your mapping app for road congestion. If it's not too red, you may be ok. If your flight arrives by 2:00 pm, you should be fine as well. If it's rush hour, spend the time having dinner or drinks (except the driver!) in town first, rather than in rush hour traffic. (You'll need to make a judgement call about leaving your bags unattended, as in any major city.) We've gone to the below places without incident, thus far. La Mariana Sailing Club on the marina next to the airport is an excellent choice for Kitschy Hawaiiana. [Currently Closed] (Was in the movie 50 First Dates and on Hawaii Five O). Another great choice for seafood, also near the airport is Nico’s Pier 38. They purchase seafood at the fish auction every morning. Ala Moana shopping mall is pretty near the airport and patrolled. It has many dining options. There is also a Costco near the airport. (There is also another nearby your accommodations.) Your rate includes one parking place at our property so no extra cost there. Also no resort fee or WiFi fee at this time as well. This could save you up to $100 a day vs. resorts near us. Scroll to the bottom of the website main page to the Maps and click on our families favorite spots that we think you'll also enjoy.
