Many great restaurants are a short walk in this neighborhood. 1895 home in West Cape May that still has some of the charm of a 125 year old home but has been completely refurbished with premium materials and a beachy-chic vibe inside and a spacious outdoor living area perfect for enjoying cool summer nights. Guests have access to the entire property. The only areas off limits are a utility closet that is kept locked, the attic, and the pool house. We’ll always be a text of phone call away if you need anything but otherwise you’ll have the place to yourself. Charming, tree lined neighborhood with a combination of rentals and year-round residence. The area of West Cape May is a short walk to Washington Street Mall, the Grant Street beach and The Cove. Enjoy short walks to local farm stands, or local, family friendly restaurants, bakeries, and shopping. It is a the perfect spot in Cape May! The property offers free parking in the driveway, which can fit two regular sized vehicles. There is also ample and free street parking. We recommend that you walk into Cape May proper, as parking can be a challenge, or bicycle. Renting bikes and golf carts are a great option, with rental companies just down the road from the house. Super convenient. The area also support Lyft and Uber drivers, which can be an option if needed. Parking at the beach locations can sometimes be a challenge, but go early to garner a parking spot. The pool is heated the beginning of April through the first week of November and will be open outside of those times depending upon the seasons. While you can walk to Grant St beach in less than 15 minutes, some days our family likes to go for a walk in the nature preserve or down to the lighthouse but on others the boys want to grab their surfboards and boogie boards and catch waves. The Cove is one of the few beaches in Cape May that allows surfing during the day so it’s become our favorite spot. We also include 8 beach tags for you to use plus sand toys and 8 beach chairs.
