Wolf Trail Cabin is a modern timber frame cabin located on the shore of Duck Lake on the Blackfeet Reservation near Babb. Located just 15 minutes from Glacier National Park, it is an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of hiking or sightseeing. You'll have the entire cabin to yourself, including a deck, fenced yard, fire pit, access to the lake, and off-street parking. There is plenty to do in the area, so stay three nights or stay a week! The space This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin sleeps up to 6 with a queen size sofa sleeper and 2 twin beds in the loft. The large bedroom offers a comfy queen bed, dresser and closet. The bathroom has a tub/shower and large vanity. There is a fully equipped kitchen and high-top dining table which seats 4. The living area also has a counter with two stools, gas fireplace, air conditioning, large flat screen TV (including Direct TV Stream, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, and Netflix), sofa, and armchair. The outdoor space includes a shaded deck, fire pit, lake access, and parking. High speed Wi-Fi and a cell phone booster (Verizon service only) allow you to stay in touch with friends and family. If you must work while you’re on vacation, there’s no better spot than at the dining room table with its incredible vista. Fair warning, however, you may get distracted by all the songbirds and waterfowl that visit the area and the ever-changing high-country skies. Guest access This cabin is easily accessible off Montana Highway 464 with about 1.5 miles of well-maintained unpaved road to travel. Other things to note We are a Native family and look forward to welcoming you to our home on the Blackfeet Reservation. Our home is also filled with books about Indigenous history, culture, and food. The Blackfeet Tribe requires we collect a 6% tax on all short term lodging on the reservation. This will be collected upon your arrival at the cabin. Your hostess, a former Park Ranger in Glacier and Yellowstone, is a great resource for planning your Montana adventure.
