One of the best and unique feels of this home is our unique reading nook perfect for those that want to have their own space adjacent to the living room sectional. Another feature of our home is the indoor hammock attached to the ceiling of the master bedroom. It is an amazing piece built for one person which is handmade and woven from Puerto Vallarta. There is plenty of backyard space that wraps around the house which is ideal for kids to play around in a safe and secure neighborhood. All of the rooms have their own theme but still provide quality sleep and amenities. In regards to workspace, we have a dedicated workstation for those that need to study, print papers, and utilize this space for business purposes. Lastly, we have a bar cart that would be great for enjoying a relaxing time with your family. There are 6 dedicated spaces you will be able to park in. 2 inside the garage and 4 outside in the driveway. We ask that guests please do not park on the street per policy rules. The best methods of transportation are rental cars at the Shreveport Regional Airport, Uber, and Lyft. It is very easy to find as well as easily accessible to the main road/parkway. Our home comes with a smart lock system that can be controlled by an app and for those who prefer simplicity, we will send your unique numerical access code prior to check-in. Further instructions are provided automatically prior to check-in. My cohost and I live locally and therefore will always be available if needed. It is very family-friendly with a good amount of people walking around during the late afternoon/early evening. The skate and dog park is within walking distance and a 5-minute drive to the downtown area where many events happen during the week and weekend. Barksdale Air Force Base is also 5 minutes away great for those that are traveling TDY or in need of a temporary stay. We are right off the Clyde Fant Parkway for those that need immediate access to the highway. Uber & Lyft are the rideshare apps providing service to the Shreveport, Boissier area. Rental car are available, and can be reserved through: Enterprise, National, Avis, Hertz, and Budget. Parking is on site. Two garage spaces and four driveway spaces are included in your reservation. Parking on the street is not permitted per HOA mandate. A high chair and pack n play (playpen) are available. Please let us know in advance. Please note that parking is limited to the six spots on the driveway as well as the two inside the garage. This is a community HOA, so please ensure that no street parking is parked overnight. Shoes will be taken off at the front of the home as much as possible to ensure that you can enjoy the tile floor throughout your home. Please use your complimentary house slippers for indoor use. For your convenience, all cooking, drinkware, eating utensils, and cleaning supplies are also included. If you would like to bring pets, please inquire first before booking. A one-time pet fee of $200 will be requested for the entirety of your stay to include a maximum of two pets.
