Visit our charming two-story rustic carriage house, only a 10-minute drive from downtown Northampton. Enjoy a full-sized kitchen and open floor plan with views of bucolic farmland. Up a set of fairly steep loft stairs, you’ll find a large bedroom finished in pine (from our property) with a queen bed. A full sized bed in the upstairs common space makes this a great place for up to two couples or a family. Walkable to conservation area with pond skating, cross country skiing and miles of trails! The space Open the glass slider to enjoy your morning coffee outside on your patio under 100-year old maple trees. In our 2-acre shared backyard, you can picnic next to the stone wall, visit our neighbors’ horses or play a game of basketball at the barn. With our convenient location and beautiful setting, enjoy the best that the Pioneer Valley has to offer! People of all backgrounds are welcome. Guest access Kitchen includes full service for four - pots, pans, plates, mugs, cups, wine glasses etc., including Sodastream, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Bedding and towels provided. Bathroom has large shower, no tub. Storage for your winter gear available in barn. We have some cross country skis, ice skates, and snowshoes available for your use, as well as bicycles when the weather is warm. For stays longer than five days, we can arrange access to a washer/dryer. Other things to note Beds are on second floor with somewhat steep stairs. (See picture) Second bed is in upstairs alcove within earshot of the downstairs and without a door for privacy. Only the bedroom has a window a/c unit, but numerous fans are available. There is a TV with local channels and a DVD player, but the TV is not connected to cable or the internet. Pack N Play and some kids items available by request. Our cat visits the carriage house between stays and might stop by to say hi while you're here. If you are highly allergic to cats, this might not be a good setup for you.
