Beautiful, comfortable artist's house located on a large, very private property with a clear sparkling brook that has all amenities and is in midst of quiet nature and close to numerous attractions and activities. A 2.5 hour drive from New York City and Boston. You can just relax, hike, visit concerts in Tanglewood or go fine dining. This is a 3 bedroom (2 beds, 1 sofa-bed and 1 toddler bed) and 2,5 bathroom house. The living area is light and has an open floor plan with an open wood-burning fireplace and a gourmet kitchen. There is a large lawn with outside seating and BBQ. Fast cable internet allows for working fully remotely. Washer and dryer are in the basement. Local Attractions: 5 minutes from Appalachian Trail, 15 minutes from stores, restaurants, theaters and Lake Mansfield in Great Barrington, 10 minutes from Catamount Ski Center, 35 minutes from Metro North to Grand Central, 30 minutes from Tanglewood, Hancock Shaker Village, Berkshire Theater Festival and Jacobs Pillow, 60 minutes from Colonial Theater and Berkshire Museum, 75 minutes from Mass MOCA and Clark Art Institute. Please understand that we cannot make any exceptions. Winter guests - our drive way is long and the winters are hard. The driveway is being plowed regularly but NOT salted or sanded. You should have a 4 wheel drive vehicle in winter to be safe and park the car roadside when a snow storm is imminent.
