An adorable traditional tongue and groove cottage with inviting open living spaces highlighted by vaulted wood ceilings. Modern conveniences have been added and upgraded, such as newer Central Air Conditioning and Central Heat. With small peeks of the Bass River across the street, the cottage is just down the road from Wilbur Park on the Bass River. It's located less than 5 minutes to both Bass River Golf Course and Blue Rock Golf Course, less than 5 minutes to two separate trailheads for the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and just minutes away from some of the best beaches, lakes, restaurants, and activities on the Cape. This cheerful 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has lots of coastal charm. With its comfy living space, newer fully equipped kitchen with retro-style appliances, small dining table with seating for 4, newer full bath, central air conditioning and ceiling fans for warmer days and nights, a center brick gas fireplace for taking the chill off in the cooler weather, and central heat for the colder months, it's the perfect vacation retreat any time of year. Enjoy the comfortable living space with brick fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and wall-mounted TV. Cable, internet, and high-speed WiFi are provided. There is an additional TV in one of the bedrooms. The 2 cozy bedrooms, also tongue and groove paneled, provide accommodations for up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms have a comfy queen bed, small closet, and vaulted ceiling with a ceiling fan. There is also a queen-size pullout sofa bed in the living area as an additional option for sleeping. Up on a knoll off the main street, with plenty of space and privacy in both the yard and on the lovely back deck with retractable awning and wicker furniture, there's loads of outdoor space to spread out in, dine in, and sit back, relax, and enjoy. There are two sheds; one with a washer and dryer, a small extra fridge/freezer, beach gear, and chairs, and the other with room to store your own bikes and gear. The location of the cottage provides easy access to all the attractions the Cape has to offer; beautiful ocean and bay beaches, freshwater ponds, rivers, golf, biking, fishing, boating, sailing, kayaking, shopping, museums, art, music, theatre, farmers markets, cranberry bogs, restaurants, ice cream, mini-golf, water park, whale watching, island ferries, and just plain relaxation! Guest access Rental is for the whole cottage and property. Not owner-occupied. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We ask all our guests to bring their own sheets & towels. If you are unable to bring your own linen, please arrange with the owner after booking to have the cleaning service supply them for an additional fee of $45.00. Bringing your own linen also helps the environment here on Cape Cod. Pets are not allowed at this cottage. No smoking or vaping inside the cottage.
