Private, two-floor Carriage House in quiet neighborhood near Melrose's downtown and public transportation to Boston (Orange Line and Commuter Rail within 1 mile). Large second floor has a king bed with a side bedroom more sleepers and updated bathroom. Fully-stocked with dishes, cooking ware, and supplies, the kitchen and laundry are on the first floor with a large couch and dining table for 6. We hope you feel like family when you’re here. Please be mindful this is our home, not a hotel. The space The Carriage House is a stand-alone two-floor structure behind the main house. With a private two-car tandem driveway, the Carriage House is accessed through a small, outdoor patio and private entrance. Both floors have ample space with open floor plans and the door to the second floor stairs provides privacy between floors. The stairs to the second floor are a little steep and the shower head-space is a little low. Please note that there are 14 stairs with limited railings to get to the apartment from the assigned driveway. If you require accommodations and an easier entry with a few steps, please let me know. We live in the other house on the property and are happy to welcome you to our home. Guest access Guests are able to access a private driveway, entrance, and full carriage house structure.
