On the ground floor of the building is the beloved Mocha Maya coffeeshop. Steps away from your apartment are all the jewels that Shelburne Falls has to offer, including the Bridge of Flowers, glacial potholes, and many wonderful places for dining, drinking, shopping, relaxing, and wandering. For people with mobility challenges, please note that this is a walkup with 3 flights of stairs. Once inside your loft, you will find an open, airy space that was lovingly renovated top to bottom in 2022. Open your giant windows, and the soothing rush of the waterfall provides an idyllic soundtrack. In summer, you can enjoy views of mountains, trees, and the flowing Deerfield River beneath. In winter, when the foliage is gone, you can see the whole waterfall. It's an easy 15-minute drive to the Berkshire East ski resort. The apartment is beautifully equipped with all you might need for cooking, hanging out, living, and working. The living room has a giant 65" 4K Roku TV, and the bedroom has a 42" HDTV. High-end chef's gear and appliances will make any cooking aficionado happy. Three different hangout areas and great separate private work areas make the apartment easy for couples or groups to spend weeks in, with everyone able to have some space to themselves. The open bedroom with queen bed is up a flight of stairs inside the loft. The loft bedroom has three quirks to keep in mind before you book. First, a curtain gives some privacy for the loft bedroom, but there are no bedroom walls. Second, the loft bedroom ceiling is low -- just under 6 feet -- so tall people will need to duck a little bit when walking around up there and getting into and out of bed. Third, the queen mattress and topper are very comfortable for people who like firm bedding, but they are resting (Japanese-style) directly on a slightly raised area of flooring to maximize head space in the low-ceilinged loft bedroom. So it's not ideal for people who like a soft, plush, raised bed. The newly renovated bathroom is tiled and painted in cheery colors. There are three spacious closets: two downstairs and in the open bedroom upstairs. There's a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and all the other amenities you'd expect from a luxury getaway!
