White Lotus Style at Pearl's Hideaway Suite

Villa Sempurna is my Balinese paradise in 1 of the grand homes on the East side, & Pearl's Hideaway occupies an entire floor. All art & furnishings are custom designed & hand made in Bali, my second home. It's like staying at a White Lotus, a few blocks to the Boardwalk! The 3rd floor luxurious French antique style romantic suite offers sitting areas, an extensive art collection, grand boudoir, architectural stonework, private bath w. walk-in shower, Jacuzzi soaker. Daily housekeeping gratis. The space This is an entire floor suite!!!! People often say this is one of the most unique houses they have ever seen. The whole house was designed and made in Indonesia, built into the shell of a Jersey Shore Victorian. The inside is Modern-Indonesian, but, the heart of this house is the energy and the people. And of course, Pearlie's energy..she is all over the place. She was my mother, and Henry's queen (see my listing "Henry's Hideaway). I feel this space is filledwith love, beauty, knowledge, and openness of heart...like hers! Most importantly, you feel an energy so humble when you walk thru the doors....Something that feels good, feels nice, just right! I can't explain it but you will see when you step over the threshold...what can i tell you!?! Guest access So once upon a time, this girl had no clue how fabulous, and delightful it would for the spirt to sit at night (regardless of the weather) on a porch! Well, if you have never, it is a must!!! You can hear music from the stone Pony, Wonderbar and watch as if your in Paris, the show passing by.... The entire floor is your private residence, with 2 sitting salons. There will be times when you will not want to leave, very cozy... Other things to note And people ask….. Who’s is this Pearl? Ahh, She had a real Cinderella story. Pearl met a handsome man named Henry, he looked like Ricki Ricardo,(Love at first sight) and eloped to Puerto Rico. They traveled to Vegas, often, he was involved with the Hotel, Junket and Jewelry business. So of course, his queen was bedazzled with the finest of jewels and traveled first class to faraway places. Later on as years went by, he regarded her a his good luck charm, he entered into the mens and ladies garment business, bought his lucky charm a couple of catering halls…since she had a affinity for evening gowns and had a reason then to wear them every night! He, had a taste for Deli so he opened up a couple of Jewish Deli’s All this while maintaining his original business. Both the garment and travel business gave them the opportunity to live all over the world….. South of France Rome Spain Asia Brooklyn (born and bred, and never forgot it!!!) Manhatten Florida Fire Island and Asbury Park Every where she went, she made friends, collected French and Asian Antiques and tons of clothing…she was a fashion diva The both of them hung with the Rat Pack, Very good friends with Sammy Davis, Henry made him His first Jewish Star! They even had a private seating with the Pope in Rome Buddy Hackett would diet with her to try to keep his boyish figure at famous Spas Where ever she went she touched peoples lives, she listened to them, and loved them in the most nurturing loving way, she had a special sarcasm about her that welcomed everyone with great big smiles. she once stopped everyone from eating fish, insisting it could be one of her relatives, and refused let anyone buy, order or even talk about it….We thought it was early dementia, but, no it was her sense of humour, she had us going for weeks…. There are so many crazy stories about these two Zanny people its insane…If you were around them, and they wanted Italian food, they grab you and fly to Italy…no joke and anyone who was with you had to join! Pearl spent a lot of time here, its full of her amazing energy, and we thought, wow! we gotta share this specialness….
