From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by panoramic mountain views through the living room windows and the rich warmth of natural wood. Many of the home’s features, like the exposed rough-cut wood beam ceilings and dining table, were hand-milled from trees sourced right here on the property. Hardwood floors, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, and intentional interior design details bring together rustic craftsmanship with refined comfort. We’ve worked hard to ensure that everything you might need—or want—is already here. Enjoy a French pressed coffee while gazing above the treetops in the morning, cook with ease in a well designed kitchen with quality appliances, CB2 plate and glassware, and wind down at the end of the day with a movie on the 65” Samsung Smart TV. Each bed is fitted with organic cotton sheets and memory foam (one Tempur-Pedic) mattresses to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The layout includes two queen bedrooms and one twin/daybed room that can also serve as a private office, perfect for remote work or midday naps. With two full bathrooms, an open-concept living and dining area, a cozy wood-burning stove and reading nook, an outdoor fire pit, and two decks (including a lower deck with a 5-person cedar hot tub), this is a space designed to help you settle in and truly unwind. You’ll have full access to the entire 20-acre property, including two level, vehicle-accessible camping areas tucked discreetly out of sight from the main chalet. Old forester trails, carved out over 80 years ago, meander across the property, guiding you past two natural springs, seasonal streams, moss-covered boulders, birdsong, and (if you're lucky) glimpses of local wildlife. We encourage guests to gather their own firewood from the forest floor and enjoy stargazing by the bonfire at night. It’s part of our effort to keep the land healthy and minimize wildfire risk. It's also the best way to connect with nature and explore the property in a peaceful and intentional way. Inside, you’ll find a Samsung wireless sound system integrated with the TV, which can be used as a Bluetooth speaker as well. Monopoly and backgammon are located in the downstairs den by the wood stove for cozy evenings in. The house is yours for the entire stay.
