The oversized master bedroom with soaking tub is above 2 downstairs bedrooms with a shared bathroom featuring a tub/shower. Every space has frosty A/C and thoughtful decorations. The kitchen is a chef's dream with modern appliances and panoramic views of the ocean. Barstools and plenty of seating space make it the perfect place to gather. A BBQ is on the outdoor lanai near the kitchen. Outside you can enjoy the sounds of the waterfall, swing in the multiple hammocks, or lounge by the pool while grilling up some fresh-caught ono! Guests have unrestricted access to the entire property except the garage and a small self-contained attached private "Ohana" unit next to the garage which houses the onsite host. He is happy to help you with any urgent needs, but we ask you to reach out to us first! The property is laid out for maximum privacy, the onsite host only uses the private garage door to come and go, and never uses the pool or any upstairs areas. The driveway is 100% yours! We live in the neighborhood, so we can drop by at a moment's notice, and our co-host lives on the property in a private space, you'll hardly notice them. The neighborhood is quiet, serene, and features a popular walking path frequented by locals looking to stay active. Close to shopping, beaches, and downtown, this location is also a higher (and cooler) elevation so the view is incredible year-round. Only 15 minutes from KOA airport, you’ll enjoy easy access to the best of the Big Island without crowds and noise. In 10 minutes, you can be at the beach, coffee farm or enjoying a stroll downtown. A rental car is a must in Kona as public transit is not prevalent. The front yard garden area has a small pond with a waterfall near the gazebo, this specific area is not suitable for unsupervised small children.
